Kylie’s latest album X has been recognised in the Best Electronic/Dance Album category for the 51st Grammy Awards. The Grammy nomination (which is Kylie’s fifth) was revealed at a ceremony in Los Angeles yesterday and will see Kylie face off against Daft Punk, Brazilian Girls, Cyndi Lauper, Moby and Robyn.

Next year’s ceremony, which takes place on the 8th February at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles will have a distinctly Australian flavour with Kylie, AC/DC, Keith Urban and Sam Sparro all up for awards.

Kylie has received previous Grammy nominations for Love At First Sight in 2003, Slow in 2005 and I Believe In You in 2006. Kylie picked up her first Grammy Award in 2004 in the Best Dance Recording category for Come Into My World.

Go Kylie!

sorry

:w00t: yessssssssssssssss  never expected this. hope she will win this one,
Wow! Tough competition in that category next year. Hope she does win, but X flopped in the US so it's going to be hard to make it win

hopefully she will win...

but i'm afraid they will give this award to a US act like Moby or Cyndi Lauper.... hope i'm wrong...

I pray either her or Robyn win, it could potentially be good exposure for them, assuming they televise it.
