Dancing Choose Press Release

After releasing ‘Dear Science’, their third album on 4AD and undoubtedly to feature on everybody’s 2008’s ‘Album of the Year’ polls, TVOTR leapt from being every cool kid’s favourite experimental Brooklyn act and receptacle of mass critical acclaim to a big - and long-deserved - commercial success.

‘Dear Science’ gave TVOTR a Top 20 chart position, their British TV debut on ‘Later with Jools Holland’ and a lighting fast sold out show at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire (the follow-up show proper to their packed out headlining gig at Concrete & Glass festival in October).

After releasing the album’s first taster in the form of the Prince-esque ‘Golden Age’, TVOTR follow its success and kick off 2009 in style by releasing second single ‘Dancing Choose’.

With it’s driving saxophone, drones and rap-speed shouty vocals it’s the perfect contrast to its predecessor’s smooth dancefloor-soul and another glimpse into the genius innovation and eclecticism of TVOTR and ‘Dear Science’.

The single includes an exclusive track ‘Make Love All Night Long’ and remixes of album tracks ‘Crying’ and single ‘Dancing Choose’ by fellow New Yorkers Telepathe and Prefuse 73 respectively.

Tracklisting:

Dancing Choose (Radio Edit)

Make Love All Night Long

Dancing Choose (Prefuse 73 Remix)

Crying (Telepathe Remix)

Another great song from them, I've been liking this track for a few months now.

yeah like them - but i do wish whoever got the rights to that film Tunde Adebimpe starred in called jump tomorrow would now play it on tv without the BSL dude poping up and doing the sign-language every could of minutes...supposed to be a good film and i'm sure it would be better if that was shown for one with out the subs and they would show something like Bond with BSL for deaf viewers...

Great album, but not as good as Return To Cookie Mountain. Staring At the Sun and Wolf Like Me are just amazing songs..

Dear Science is a lot different but I think it's the right to do to stay on top :)
