Thank you greatly for doing this Shoat. It may have taken time but it's been intensely funny and quite nice to see people's collective opinions on something which ultimately is very subjective.

I was going to say I'd be very interested to see an Eastenders 2009 rate. I suspect a lot of the positions would change quite dramatically. For instance I doubt Ronnie would have trouble making top 20 now, and I'd also expect a collective rise for the Masoods.

It would also be very interesting to see how the newbies and returnees fare. I'd expect Janine to be a strong challenger for #1, and I suspect Syed and Amira wouldn't fare too badly. On the other hand I genuinely have NOT a clue where Sam would rank.

 

 

I would say though if it was to happen, and it fell to me again, I wouldn't do it to the commentary to this kind of extent. The new entries would get the full treatment, but for the rest it would be more an update as opposed to the whole shebang. On the plus, it would probably get done a hell of a lot more quickly.

 

Unless someone else wanted to take it on?

Well you know, I wouldn't say no if asked... But if you want to remain the ringmaster that's also fine by me!

If you fancy it, I'm more than happy! So long as you know if I will probably disagree with any praise you pile on Lucy Beale in your commentary!

 

In all honesty I think it would be nice for this to be an annual thing. But like I said, if I were to do it to it the second time, I wouldn't do it proper justice as it would effectively just be a minor update. Most of what I would say I have already just done. Maybe in a couple of years when the cast has shifted a bit...

I'd love to do it aswell but I'm no good at commentary so I'll leave it to Jark :lol:.
