I'm not gonna lie in that it is cheap LOL. I just haven't really sent anything cheap since Katy Perry really (and even then I didn't know she was going to be huge). I think it'd be less so than Kelly / Veronicas / Taylor in that it's a male. It has tons of pathos to it. :( I can't help but like it.

 

I'm not decided or anything yet though. I'd just love to get a 5th consecutive top 5/10 placing. xD

 

although I'd love it to be our first male winner, I think it would suffer in the same way that Allecian have this month and would be more likely to give you a 5th 7th place or something around that mark

 

I think that other song you had in mind would easily give you a 5th consecutive top 10 placing anyway :D you can't have 5 consecutive top 5 placings because Mysterious came 7th in XI, but it could certainly give you a record 3rd consecutive top 5 placing!

Hook Me Up is probably the most BJSC-friendly album ever, I bet 90% of the songs on there could go top ten

Yeah I don't think it would do overly well. :/ Darn. I mean I'd be happy with top 10 though. Also, I think it'd probably do a tad better than Breathe Slow in that it has more crossover appeal. I think more of the indie crow would like it than Breathe Slow. They'd like the Noisettes too though, my only problem is that I'm not sure if the pop crowd would dig it; it might be too indie.

it does seem that appealing to both crowds is the way forward, but then again Agnes just won so what am I talking about!?! I was fully aware that M.A.G.I.C. had the potential to crossover to both crowds, it's just lucky that it's a song I absolutely adore :heart:
