I don't think #27 is any reason for Mariah's team to have crisis talks. This is the fifth single from a hit album so how much was expected really?

 

But it's still not exactly good, is it? Considering the amount of TV play it recieved.

I have voted 'it's her smallest hit in five years'. I think a fifth single was too much and they should not have bothered. The performance of this single undermines the glory of her comeback.

Nope, She had her year last year, and she's allready had 4 singles here, it was her fifth, and let's face it the song wasn't amazing. The album has sold loads worldwide, and now it's time to tour, release a DVD and then a new album :)

I knew a 5th single wouldn't fare so well anyway whatever was released. If it had been something other than SS maybe ab it higher...

The album has sold well. Perhaps there should be a limit on how many singles an artist can release off one album. In most cases, you've got the first single being released then the album is released the week after. I think this is a mistake as it detracts sales from the follow up singles. The album should be released later, perhaps after the second single. I usually wait until I've heard a few singles before getting any album at all.
Most seem to think 4 is appropriate though I remember S Club 7 never released more than 3 from one album - if they did they had double A Sides and stuff.
