I've noticed that the Robbie William's forum has a poll on whether he should join TT or not! They seem to think that Take That fans want him to - lets show them that we are equally as horrified at the thought of a cross between Frank Spencer and Norman Wisdom rejoining them.

 

They've had one idiot on there vote a yes already.

About the slagging off of Take That - I've noted you do it on the Rob board and even on the neutral boards I've seen demeaning posts by you - so I see a little hypocrisy there. Never mind!

 

Having said that ... I have modified my initial comments to refer to him as an 'average' singer rather than the crude descriptive I had in there previously, i.e. c rap. I do feel bad about insulting Frank Spencer but have left that and the Norman Wisdom bit in.

Where did I say Rob fans were the only ones allowed to state their views on this? What I am saying is that there is no need to constantly slag Robbie off the way you do. It's just unnecessary, especially when the same does not get done in the Robbie forum. There certainly may be the occasional negetive comment, but nowhere near the amount as here, which if you ask me is just slagging off for the sake of it and seemingly having nothing else to talk about. Is'nt it a TT forum? Yet Rob seems to be brought up so much, even in threads nothing to do with him. Strange that. :mellow:

You are once again inncorect i'm afriad Norma. I very rarely slag off TT. In fact I have'nt posted on Buzzjack reguarly in months. I do post my opinion on the matter by presenting facts, but don't resort to constant childish (almost hissy fits) about people I don't even know. To be quite honest, I thankfully have far better things to be doing with my time then let it get to me to the extent it appears to you. You talk about hypocrisy - but are'nt you the one who reguarly posts in the Robbie forum and appears to be quite nice, by posting links and so on, but then you come on here and slag him off constantly as if he had run down your dog or something. Truly is quite bizzare. One last thing I will say before going, it is very arrogant to assume that all TT fans who do not want Rob to rejoin (whether it be for a one off or otherwise) think he is a c**p or average singer. There is a huge amount of TT fans who are Robbie fans, who don't want it to happen, therefor making your poll im afriad quite pointless. Never mind!

Perhaps you should have said that in the thread's sub-title.

 

I don't want to get into a p*ssing contest with the Take That forum over this, simply for the fact that I don't care. Take That's 'success' is pretty much limited to the UK these days, hell if it weren't for Buzzjack I wouldn't even know that they were still around.

 

This is all just media cr*p being dug up (for the millionth time) and we all know it's not going to happen. Rob has his own album which he'll be releasing next year so I don't know when they expect him to have time to rejoin TT. :rolleyes:

 

Also I null voted due to the childishness of this poll -_- I just don't see the 'fun' in it.

fair enough point osiris but where the hell are you hiding if you didnt know take that are around apart from seeing them on buzzjack they are the biggest act in the UK at the moment,!!! :o

 

personnally i dont like robbie as a person or should i say what i see and have seen of robbie in the press and tv i dont like but there is no denying he has made quiet a name for himself and has sold many records.

 

as for the take that and robbie thing it will prob go on for years,as i said before both are now completly seperate acts and im glad they have made up for themselves and i think mainly for mark as he seems to be the only one who was friends with all members through out the good and the bad times so the fact they are all talking again must be great for him,,robbie has his career now and so do take that but to be fair you cant deny take that are bigger now than robbie ever was in the Uk so we cant take that away from them,,yes robbie has a bigger career over europe but he worked his ass off for that ,,this is now a hobby for take that and they are not pushing for success outside the uk/ireland

 

There is enough success for both acts and when you look everything they have all done as in take that as a group and robbie as a solo act they cumilate some record sales which no other boyband/manband will ever manage and for the 5 lads themselves id like to see them have their own private drink and sit down and realise there success and all give each other a pat on the back

 

Whats great also is how far some of the lads have come since it all started back in the early 90#s and i dont mean music sales and concerts 3 of them are now settled down with kids partners etc and can now have this as a hobby while securing a great future for their kids and that is probably the biggest kick they get out of all this and all i say is well done to them and long may it last

I don't live in the UK, Take That aren't huge here, most people I know probably didn't even know that the band are back together. Sorry if I've got it wrong but from what you've said; they are only big in the UK and Ireland so why therefore would I (an Aussie) give two hoots about them.

I don't have anything against or for Robbie so I didn't vote either way. I like that they're friends again and guest spots wouldn't bother me but neither need one another so I don't want Robbie to ever return full time.

Though i found the first option rather funny, but I'll have to stick with my principles which are NOO WAYYY:)
