#3 would be great for her :cheer: considering it hasn't had a great deal of airplay and this sort of music doesn't always go down well in the UK, like Oral Fixation Vol. 2. -_-

me neither! and she could easily climb to 12, thesales between them are less than a few hundred copies :D
Yeah, I think she'll prolly jump a few spots. Danni Minogue is only just ahead!
She will climb quite a bit, hdl is at 4 and is 2000 copies behind 1 and 1000 behind 3 :( still early in the week though.

and in the albums she's like 1000 behind 11 :o
Still possible but i really want her to go top 10, this album is a billion times better than laundry service.
Shakira i now just under 700 copies behind number 2 at 4 and the album is now just over 400 copies behind 12, think they are correct but im tired lol, so a possible number 2 and 12 so they are great, hopefully the album can climb in to the top ten next week and that will make people go out and buy it because it will self promote.
This update was good. I think Muse and Sandi may drop by the end of the week because their downloads aren't as good as Shakira's.
Back to #2 on iTunes. I dunno if that means she increased her downloads or Monster decreased - hopefully the first :D Maybe she won't drop this week after all.
this is getting exciting, i still think muse is serious competition they may get strong sales on saturday i hope sandi drops to 4 on sunday and shakira is stable at 3 or even climbs to 2 it would be so great for her considering she has done zero promotion in the UK compared to nelly, sandi and muse, this just shows how strong she is and hips don't lie

I totally agree, maybe next week she could get #1 :o, because the week after that is the world cup final, so that could help her even more!

I wont be here for that though, I pray they show her performance in Spain

Could make No.2 this week :-)

Only two real contenders out next week: Pussycat Dolls and Kooks...I think they could both make top 5 but I hope Shakira will one day be in with a chance at No.1!!!

Let's imagine this week she is 2, then next week she drops to maybe 5. The week after that would be World Cup performance so I think this would definately have a chanve at #1. I originally thought that she would drop a couple of places each week and be at about 10 when the World Cup performance was shown but if she's still top 5 by then, she could be in with a really good chance. And if not #1, she'll still have a good run with this single.

update today!!

Early retail reports suggest that Nelly Furtado could hold at the top of the singles chart this weekend with Maneater (Geffen), despite stiff competition from Shakira and Pussycat Dolls.

Sales flashes show that Shakira's Hips Don't Lie (Epic) and Pussycat Dolls' Buttons (A&M) are close contenders for the top spot as a consequence of there being little activity from new entries this week.

Top 3

Shakira feat Wyclef Jean - Hips Don't Lie

Pussycat Dolls feat Snoop Dogg - Buttons (11) **CLIMBER**

still top 2!! :o I think she could totally take the #1 this week you know :o

Hmm...really not sure this week...great to see it will definitely remain top 3 though :-)
