December 30, 200816 yr But you see this is what happens when people are anxious for Gary Barlow to give up lead altogether and hand it over to Mark! I think on their third and final album for Polydor - we'll see Gary Barlow just do one song and Mark do all the others! Norma I was talking about this quote and not about Julie. It seems to me very bitter. Owen has only four leads on the new album. Only one more as on BW! As about why i was going out from TT forum had more to do with your calling of Robbie a karaoke-singer and Owen a munchin singer or something like that. I prefer more polite discusions. And don't shout me about Julie... What the other TT-fans think about it? I am one - and i like it. Not as the best song but also not as the worst. But i like it. I could also bring a lot of TT fans who don't like a song or other one. And? Would you don't like a song anymore just because everybody else don't like it? Why on earth only because you despise a song should i think it is a bad one? Sorry everybody - end of discussion here for me. :teresa: Edited December 30, 200816 yr by IrisAlbastru

U2 are not the Beatles ... even The Rolling Stones are not the Beatles. Nobody is the Beatles! Take That are an amusing band that produce one or two qurky and melodic tunes ... here and there. They fill a space! Lets be thankful for what we have! But Julie is still a pile of pants! Norma
December 31, 200816 yr I agree with those who say 'I'd Wait For Life' from Take That's last album was an apalling choice of single. 'Reach Out' is my favourite song of theirs since they got back together, I'm still bewildered that wasn't released as the second or third single from that album. :(
December 31, 200816 yr Oh I forgot from my original post Saturdays - Up Saturdays - If This Is Love Really this is just sub-standard Girls Aloud.
December 31, 200816 yr Kings Of Leon - Sex On Fire/Use Somebody Both very good songs but oh my god they got boring fast. Every Radio station playing these two tracks because they became a hit band after previous albums. Christina Aguilera - Keeps Gettin' Better Another song I like but it's not the best of Aguilera, her Rocky edge (Fighter, Dirrty) is a lot better than the electro pop thing Beyonce - If I Were A Boy Why oh why didn't Single Ladies do better, it's more fun than this sexist track (and yet another song I do like) X Factor Final-t*ts - Heros Thank you very much for killing a Mariah Carey classic. Simon Cowell has ruined this music industry and this song is somehow the 2nd fastest download of 2008. COMPLETE BOLLOCKS. The whole point of people being voted off X-Factor is so we don't have to hear their voices on the radio. DEATH TO S.C. and the awful music (apart from Leona Lewis) he has created Will Young - Changes BORING! Plain and simple

I think it was planned as the fourth single, but they come with the brilliant Rule the World instead . Edited December 31, 200816 yr by IrisAlbastru
December 31, 200816 yr Keeps Gettin Better if anything underated, a fantastic track which a few seemed to turn their noses at because of it sounds like Lady GaGa.
December 31, 200816 yr Estelle - American Boy Will.I.Am - Heartbreaker [because of Cheryl and her vocal was disgusting] Sam Sparro - Black & Gold [Loved this but very overated, I do agree] X Factor Finalists/Alexandra Burke - I hate Alexandra. I find her voice mediocre and she has an irritating attitude to. Duffy - Mercy Kid Rock - All Summer Long Katy Perry - I Kissed A Girl [Read Sparro] Chris Brown - With You I shall think of more laterr.
December 31, 200816 yr There's so many. At top of my head - that Flo Rida - Low nonsense. Will.I.Am/Cheryl Cole - Heartbreaker is another
January 1, 200916 yr OneRepublic - Stop & Stare The Script - The Man That Can't Be Moved Chris Brown - With You Chris Brown - Forever Will.I.Am - Heartbreaker September - Cry For You They're all nice enough songs and I charted them all but once you hear them 16+ weeks in a row on the chart show they started to get annoying. I'm sure I'll get back into them now most of them have disappeared from the top 40 and I'm not forced into hearing them. The same happened to 'I Kissed A Girl' and Rihanna's three big hits this year but they didn't grate on me as much. Then there are songs from Nickelback, Kid Rock, X Factor Finalists etc. that are over rated but they're the sort of songs hardly anyone seems to actually likes despite being big sellers.
January 1, 200916 yr Then there are songs from Nickelback, Kid Rock, X Factor Finalists etc. that are over rated but they're the sort of songs hardly anyone seems to actually likes despite being big sellers. That's a really good point. The term overrated has been used quite loosely, I think. Maybe the thread should be renamed "Songs that didn't deserve the success they had". A hell of a lot of songs listed haven't really had much critical acclaim.
