Cash by Johnny Cash, best read ever.

i like the Kurt Cobain bigraphy, 'Heavier Than Heaven' quite alot too.

I recently read Tony Blackburn's autobiography. I didn't have any opinion of him before, but now after reading it, I've come out rather liking the man.

Best music autobiography for me though is Boy George's Take It Like A Man. Fantastic read.

A book I like a lot is David Cavanagh's book about Creation Records - My Magpie Eyes are Hungry for the Prize.

Boy George - Take It Like A Man

Johnny Rogan - Morrissey & Marr: The Severed Alliance

John Lydon - Rotten: No Irish, No Blacks, No Dogs

Paul McCartney - Many Years From Now

Gary Barlow - My Take

But the best Music book I've read is by a music journalist turned DJ's memoirs:

Stuart MaConie - Cider With Roadies

Cash by Johnny Cash, best read ever.

i like the Kurt Cobain bigraphy, 'Heavier Than Heaven' quite alot too.

I only ever got about 1/3 of the way through 'Heavier Than Heaven'...

Alex James' 'A Bit of a Blur' was an excellent read!

John Peel / Sheila Ravenscroft - Margrave of the Marshes

Must get round to reading Alex James' book some time. I'll just have to carry on waiting for Damon Albarn to do the same.

Last Train To Memphis and Careless Love by Peter Guralnick are a couple of excellent books about Elvis.
