Hi Guys. This is my first post on Buzzjack. I jsut wanted to see who out there was into Pendulum? Last cd has huge crossover appeal from DnB to rock. They have a new single dropping January 5th called showdown and they have put up a spice invaders type game on their site. Check it out and tell me what you think...

they used to be straight drum n bass but they are pretty much a rock band now so i guess this is the right place :/

 

i think they are good, just not as good as they used to be and they are a bit samey.

Hold Your Colour (as you've said) was straight Drum N Base, but in Silico I guess you'd call it is electronic-rock. I wouldn't call any of their tracks to be 'dance' tbh

I love 'In Silico' tracks seperatly but as an album it is poor, their live act is brilliant though.

I love Pendulum. Is the single on iTunes or youtube yet cause I'm yet to hear it. I even bought their In Silicon album and have been a fan ever since. My big favs were their singles Granite and Propane Nightmares. :)

They played MK earlier this year, but I didn't get tickets in time. :(

I love Pendulum, I personally love both albums and saw them live a few weeks ago. Easily one of the best gigs I've ever been to, they are a brilliant live band. 'Showdown' is probably one of the songs I listen to least though, would have liked to have seen 'Different' released or maybe even 'The Tempest'.

i saw them at Reading though, real brutal crowd, circle pits everywhere and i think the crowd in the tent were bigger than the crowd at main stage, it was absolutly packed, not everyone could even fit into the tent, rows and rows of people outside i believe. I think theres videos of it on youtube.
