January 5, 200916 yr Hopefully Lady Gaga hallelujah is just....boring now after weeks... Just Dance is a real good song...and hope it gets to the top this week and give us fresh airXD
January 5, 200916 yr I do hope it is Just Dance. It would be the best #01 for me, since Umbrella really.
January 5, 200916 yr I think Alexandra. Her physicals have been incredible this week and I just don't think Lady Gaga will have that much of an impact on Physicals as Alex.
January 5, 200916 yr Author Remember Alexandra sold 104k last week after selling 29k on the Sunday/Monday last week. At that point it looked like she was on for 90k. Taking into account her ever decreasing download sales suggests her physical sales are increasing rapidly again. Which is probably due to woolies slashing their prices. With the remaining 200+ woolies closing tomorrow if they lets say on average have 150 copies of Hallelujah left to give away at 10p each then that'd be 30k to her total this week. Add on another 30k from downloads and 10k from other physical outlets she could very well clear another 70k this week and cause Lady GaGa some problems!
January 5, 200916 yr Ofcourse that's assuming all 200 branches have stock left, several I've been to the past week have barely anything left. Even so, I reckon Alex will have a head start in the mids, could get quite neck and neck by the end of the week I reckon, especially if Alex continues to fall on itunes (which she will). Lady Gaga could end up doing at least 50k-60k this week maybe? So if not this coming week I'd expect her to do it next week (Kid Cudi will be a threat and is still a potential #1 but surely it can't do more than 50k? - though the singles market is higher right now so who knows).
January 5, 200916 yr Out of the two I say Gaga. It's already miles ahead on iTunes, and with Woolies gone, Alex won't have many more places for people to buy her physical. But sin't kid Cudi out on download next week? I'm just not sure it will be either of these... IMO Kid Cudi won't even trouble the T20, so I think it's safe to forget it. I can see Lady Gaga taking over at #1 this Sunday, and remaining there until Lily Allen's song is released. Edited January 5, 200916 yr by vidcapper
