POP foghorn ANASTACIA has been belting out her gut-busting anthems for the best part of a decade now.

She’s topped the charts in the UK, all over Europe and in Australia with teeth-gnashingly awful tracks such as I’m Outta Love, One Day In Your Life and Left Outside Alone.

 

And now she’s finally admitted to something I suspected all along — she doesn’t like music.

 

While the statement seems fairly obvious when you think about it, the pint-sized diva has made a creditable stab at hiding that fact while plaguing us all with her thundering song craft.

 

The Chicago-born performer made the extraordinary admission in a new interview.

 

She revealed: “I prefer silence to putting on a CD.

 

“Listening to music doesn’t relax me and I find it hard to think straight when it’s on.”

 

I’ve often felt that too while professional obligations have forced me to feed one of her CDs into the Bizarre hi-fi.

 

But that’s only the half of it.

 

She goes on: “I have an iPod but I can’t recall the last time I used it.

 

“I bought a JANET JACKSON cassette once but that’s it. I’ve never bought a record in my life.”

She concluded her masterclass on the record industry with these words: “Music has never moved me. It doesn’t do anything for me.

 

“To be honest, I find it irritating.”

 

The UK-based singer’s latest album, Heavy Rotation, has sunk without trace since its release in October.

 

I think this may well be the last we hear from her.

Victoria Newton was (old editor). This one is worst though.

ana needs to clear things up when she's back from her hols.

 

Definitly she needs to do something as this wont help the album sell at all,she needs to turn it around and bring it down further

if she doesnt her tour wont go anywhere. right now lots of people are quite upset about her comments.
