For god's sake, how do I disrupt the thread? I started posting the Irish charts before Shaky Fan at the start of the year before I knew that it was him alone who posts the chart. When he told me this, I stopped. However, last week he started requesting that everybody stop posting itunes updates on his Irish chart thread, I tried to argue that the iTunes chart is extrememly relevant as it has a direct and obvious impact on the chart. Shaky Fan responded by telling me he doesn't give a f*** about the iTunes chart and told me to p*** off. After this rude response, I figuired that I am under no obligation to wait for him to post the charts just so we can discuss it. This is a public forum and everyone can talk about what they want. So please, before you start accusing me of things, actually find out before hand what you are talking about. Look back upon this thread. As you'll see, I have always waited for Shaky Fan to post the charts apart from the isolated incidents at the start of the year that I mentioned. However, given his rudeness, this situation could change. Unless... you know... he apologises.

JLS have already shown that TV talent show runners-up can achieve chart success, having spent the last two weeks at No1 on the Album Chart, and this week it’s Susan

Boyle’s turn to debut at the top, seven months after she came second to Diversity in the third series of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’. ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ is the fastest-selling debut album in Ireland since Leona Lewis ‘Spirit’ two years ago.

 

Lady Gaga leaps from No35 to No4 with the release of ‘The Fame Monster’ – a double CD expanded version of her debut album ‘The Fame’ which has already spent five weeks

at No1 earlier this year. The Priests have the next new entry at No7 with their second album ‘Harmony’, ahead of Rihanna who debuts at No9 with her fourth album ‘Rated R’ – both reached the top with their previous albums ‘The Priests’ and ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’.

 

The X-Factor Finalists take a second week at No1 on the Singles Chart with ‘You Are Not Alone’, heading a remarkably stable Top 10 where the only significant mover is

Lady Gaga, whose ‘Bad Romance’ moves up three places From No6 to No3. Susan Boyle has this week’s TWO highest new entries with the Rolling Stones classic ‘Wild

Horses’ at No12 and the title track of her album ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ at No20. Black Eyed Peas merit a special mention for ‘I Gotta Feeling’ – at No11 this week, but

more significantly now the best seller of the year so far in Ireland, just ahead of Lady Gaga’s ‘Poker Face’

Great song and all, but I was really hoping that Poker Face could hang on.
