Miles Kane has promised that he will record a second Last Shadow Puppets album with Alex Turner.

The duo, who released their debut The Age Of The Understatement in 2007, will team up again when they take a break from their full-time bands, The Rascals and Arctic Monkeys.

"Me and Alex Turner will definitely make another Last Shadow Puppets album but not straight away," Kane told the Daily Star.

"I want to devote myself to making a very large second album with The Rascals first."

Kane revealed that The Rascals will begin working on their second LP in March and said that he is hoping to get Super Furry Animals and Neon Neon singer Gruff Rhys to produce the disc.

"I don't want the next record to be just guitar music," he said. "I need to bring width to our sound. We need to work with a creative producer who can push us with strange instruments in the studio.

"I would like to work with Gruff Rhys of Super Furry Animals and Neon Neon. I suggested the idea to him recently and he was into it."

A surprise, but a pleasant one :o Thoughts?

There was something that said they were going to do another one not so long ago :P I don't think this will be for a while yet though but it'd be interesting to see how they do it and not sound the same as TAOTU if you know what I mean...
Yeah, I don't think anything will come of it for a while. They might write songs and stuff, but I reckon it will be next year at least before they go back into the studio. I'm ready for a new Arctic Monkeys album anyway!
