Brilliant acting from Phil and Dawn last night... however they really have to stop this thing where each time somebody does something scandalous and then steps out of their house, the entire street or everybody in the pub falls silent and fires evils at them. It's infuriating. I do like the idea of Phil, who has had his fair share of disgrace, helping Billy through a low point like this though...

The massive absurdity of the Nick/Dotty/bump-off Dot scenario is really beginning to show now. Lines like 'I ain't got an 'art!' and 'What you got on 'im? / He was in care... / Right!' are insane! I do love it when my favourite TV shows get their ridiculous on but this is getting to the point where it's making a real mockery of the show, a la Den's return. They're playing it all wrong; the only enjoyable element of the storyline is Dot doubting her own health, Nick's intentions etc. The rest is crap. The first great Diederick mistake in some time, I'd say... casting the girl who plays Dotty was a really terrible decision. That nasty faux-cockney accent isn't even ever-present; she said 'sooner rather than later' in perfect middle-class English just before the duff-duff! By contrast a good example of a ridiculous storyline is something like Chelsea making Libby rush out to by a slutty school uniform.

I feel like it's only really been Stacey, Tanya, Chelsea and Phil who've been carrying EE this past fortnight. We need Ronnie, Roxy, Jane, the Massoods and Janine back pronto.

I think Jamie Borthwick's voice is breaking which made those scenes hard for him as he is generally a great actor for his age,,i enjoye dthis week but i completly agree about the pub falling silent i hate when they do that as everyone stops talking and the music goes off is so so annoying bar that i loved it and i liked the phil and billy section phil has been brilliant the last few weeks

Lmao at Ben dancing like that, the eastender bosses are really intent on making him the most rubbish character ever in any soap! :P

and when he read that Denial leaflet, probably just because he danced around a bit to "girly" music he's supposed to be gay now or something? :manson:

That's what I was thinking haha. His character has always been a bit stereotypically gay with the tap dancing, interest in musicals/old fashioned music and now dancing to Girls Aloud. Perhaps they're officially going down that route now? (or maybe I'm reading into it too much and it was just a leaflet of Phil's)

I thought that was the leaflet he gave Phil? But yes, most cringeworthy scene ever. Kara Tointon continues to impress though. :o

LOL of course the leaflet was Phils :kink:

And I doubt anyone hasn't realised Ben is gay :heehee:

I hope they keep it slowly burning and deal with the issues properly.

Ben's character probably is gay, and that could be a future storyline in the future. :o
Yes i was tinking the same thing id be 99% sure they will go with ben been gay storyline down the road and hopefully by then we will have a ben that can act

YES YES YES YES YES :cheer: Woo :D

Wow the "Gay Massod" rumour has been going on since before they even arrived!

SPOILERS YALL

But omg yay. Now we just need for the doc to

get his gay on. Ooof.

^ I dont think theres any need to worry about spoilers lol something like this will be all over the place!

It was a breaking news on a local BBC radio station apparently :heehee:

"This is not a story about Syed and Christian's physical relationship – we don't see anything beyond one kiss. It's more about the inner turmoil and conflict Syed endures trying to remain true to his faith while questioning his sexuality."

There goes my interest in this storyline.
