December 28, 201212 yr I bet if you ask the general public they would struggle to name 5 Rihanna tracks... Her music is not good enough to warrant her success. Her tracks will never be regarded as classics. In fairness though she is one of the better pop girls around at the moment, but with the lack of quality and originality in the charts that is not a hard task. I'd say nealy everyone between 15-35 years old could probably name 10 Rihanna tracks without having to think too hard. Umbrella, we found love, diamonds, rude boy, please don't stop the music, disturbia, love the way you lie ect ect are the songs that a generation is growing up with/to.
January 14, 201312 yr Author So Rihanna has a 3rd song spend 14 weeks top 10 (Diamonds) and a few other hits in double figures. Are there other artists who can match these top10 runs in length and quantity?
January 14, 201312 yr until she reaches the heights of the big hits of the 90s for example, bryan adams, wet wet wet etc there will always be lengthier runs than 14 weeks. As for quantity I'd have to look into, the likes of Elvis and the beatles spring to mind though.
