May 9, 200916 yr Author Really looking forward to hearing new Madonna material. I'm glad she is going back to dance after the dire hard candy album.
May 15, 200916 yr From MADONNATRIBE : "A cutting-edge sound with an old-school classic feel'' DJ Paul Oakenfold has just returned from a week in the studio with Madonna, where they have been working on new material for her upcoming greatest hits album and shares a few tidbits in his recording label Perfecto mailout: "I was looking for a cutting-edge sound with an old-school classic feel. I think we have achieved that and I think people are going to be really happy with this bunch of songs," Paul says. As you remember Paul is opening for Madonna across Europe on the 2009 leg of her Sticky & Sweet Tour. The new Madonna album, her latest release under Warner Bros. Records, is currently scheduled to hit the stores in September 2009. Exclusive Reports: RaVaughn clears rumours about Revolver net demo The big buzz that has been going on in the "Queendom" since a few days is all about the snippets, that have been leaked onto the internet, of the original demo (not sung by Madonna), of the new song that the Queen Of Pop has recently recorded in the studio and that is titled "Revolver". Our long time friend and forum member Tastyboy had the chance to speak to RaVaughn, the vocalist that has worked as a backing singer for many R&b artists and that has confirmed that it's actually her singing in the demo and not "Shawnna featuring Jackie Boyz", as the leaked snipped has been mislabeled. "I did record the original female demo 'Revolver'", RaVaughn confirmed to our friend Francesco, adding that "The Jackie Boyz" wrote it and asked me to come demo it for them. Los of the Jackie Boys recorded it originally and they wanted a female vocal on it so I went in and did it." Deducing that "Revolver" reached Madonna when DJ Frank E submitted it to her while recently working together in the studio for her Greatest Hits package, the song had been already submitted (and probably turned down) by a few artists: "It was said to be pitched to Katy Perry and Flo-Rida, he was supposed to rap on it", RaVaughn told our friend. Commenting about her demo that leaked onto the internet RaVaughn said: "I didn't even know a lot of people heard the demo. I knew it got leaked, but wasn't aware that so many people were in to it!"
May 16, 200916 yr If they get this right and record a couple of really cool new tracks which are included on the greatest hits, then this album could easily be her biggest in recent years. I'd love Madonna to release a complete greatest hits set, which also includes a limited edition release for the fans including some rare unreleased stuff. That's what I really want too, with the original single versions (video versions in some cases) of the singles. But I will buy this either way, I know you don't see me here much, but I am very excited about this realease, I loved Madonna since I was 4
May 22, 200916 yr First Look: New Madonna on the way! New Madonna music is on the way... According to DJ FrankE, who spent some quality time with her in the studio earlier this month working on an electro-pop track that everyone is now identifying as the Madonna rendition of "Revolver". Frank E certainly has a unique approach to the internet and a tongue in cheeck consideration of how the show biz marketing works, but chances are that he's not wrong at all... Here's what he says: "New Madonna on the way! Madonna fans - make sure to keep asking her for it. Maybe she'll put it out sooner".
May 23, 200916 yr Electro Pop sounds the best way to go, Hard Candy has to be her worst album to date.

July 10, 200915 yr MadonnaTribe has just heard and can report an exciting and thrilling World Exclusive News. "Celebrate", the lead single from Madonna's upcoming Greatest Hits package "Celebration" is set to hit radio waves around the world on July 28th! Following the exciting world exclusive news we reported yesterday here, MadonnaTribe has heard more details about the upcoming Madonna single and greatest hits album. As all our readers know by now, "Celebrate" is set to hit radio waves around the world on July 28th, but those who attended the Sticky & Sweet Tour already managed to hear a glimpse of the lead single from the new Madonna collection titled "Celebration". "Celebrate" can indeed be heard in the show during the "Holiday" number. As reported here first, bits of both the new single and Madonna's oldie "Everybody" are sampled in the song, although fans should not be confused by the vocals introducing the song (Celebration, Celebration) which are those from Holiday and only a hint to "Celebrate" which doesn't feature vocals borrowed from Madonna's 1983 megahit but it's a completely new, kick ass uptempo anthem in pure Madonna style. Speaking of new songs, "Revolver" is now the only second new track to be part of the Greatest Hits package, while "Broken", the other track produced by Paul Oakenfold won't be released. Last but not least, Madonna fans will be happy to know that "Celebration", the hits collection, is a double album! Edited July 10, 200915 yr by thtr
