January 12, 200916 yr Oh people really. Regardless of it being a remix album, #28 for a Kylie album is p***-POOR. Coming so soon after the underwhelming X project, and it's obvious she just ISN'T the force she was seven years ago. Edited January 12, 200916 yr by Shoat
January 12, 200916 yr Good for Kylie though shame it fell out of top20 from the mids :( Hardly a flop- its a remix album, unpromoted which was only really selling to hardcore fans. Her last remix album Mixes only made 63 or something so its her most successful yet i'm sure! Also, it seems the supermarkets underestimated demand- i was in big Asdas and Tesco this week who only had 1 rack each of her album which sold out by about wed and they still didn't have more in by sat :o i blame EUK!
January 12, 200916 yr Lady GaGa is already #2 on the year to date chart this week, with 50% sales increase. Well, that's not gonna take much effort, considering there's been TWO charts this year.
January 13, 200916 yr Quite amusing to see the "Kylie-flop" posts. Which other artists have achieved as high a chart position with a remix album? Admittedly, she will have been helped by the January sales slump, but seriously #28 is very good.
