Just to point out that 'Now That's What I Call Music Volume 1' was released for the first time on CD today - I have waited years for this to happen!

Relive the golden year of 1983 for 11 quid!

There's a couple from around 89-91 I may purchase... The first one I ever bought was 21!
Is this a one-off, or are they gonna sell the full back-cat?
This is really cool. Definitely going to get this when I have the money. Both me and the other half bought the original vinyl, though I'll admit mine wasn't at the time (my first Now was Now 23!) Anyone fancy turning this into a Survivor game? :)

am i the only one indifferent to this?

its just that nowdays retro music, especially top ten hits, are so easy to get hold of. i used to like compilation albums as they were better value then buying all the singles, but these tracks on this album i know off by heart.... it was a good album 25 years ago, but now?...

I remember getting Now 23 for my birthday on CD and it costing a scary £18.99! Now they are £12.99!

Only difference is... they used to be a lot better, but that's only because I'm rapdily becoming an out-of-touch miserable git!

Yeah Now 23 had Bizarre Inc... Was Not Was... Charles + Eddie (haha)... and some horrors... Bille Ray Cyrus... Jon Secado and that awful Bob Marley Iron Lion Zion!
