January 14, 200916 yr Gallows are one of the few modern Punk Rock bands that are worthy of the name IMO..... "Orchestra Of Wolves" had a stunningly raw quality about it which I just loved.... I really hope that the new album is not gonna be over-produced, because that would just totally kill Gallows' sound..... But, if the Rage guy is involved, then should be okay.... just never, ever get the likes of Butch fukkin' Vig to produce your album if you're a raw, underground, Punk act... Otherwise, he'll turn you into a boy band, like he did with Nirvana..... <_<

But i think GGGarth could be a safe bet after the Rage album, as that was pretty war and energy filled, which is exactly what we want with Gallows, although he did produce the last Biffy Clyro album which ended up as there most commercial and clean album, i guess we'll have to wait and see. But based on 'Gold Dust', it seem's like the right sound is kept although i'm not sure if GGGarth produced that track.

If he "Cleans up" Gallows, then it's gonna be a sh!t album, no matter how good the songs are.... Bad production or "too clean" a production can absolutely ruin an album and a band's material IMO... "Nevermind" had great songs, but you had to actually hear them LIVE in order to really appreciate the rawness and power of them, because that sure as hell never came across in Butch Vig's sterilized production process.. Steve Albini, who did "In Utero", did a much better job of getting across Nirvana's rawness.... In fact, one wonders why Gallows didn't go for Albini as producer, they guy's a Legend..... Or, better yet, produce the album themselves.....
January 27, 200916 yr Author Gallows to make 30 minute film Gallows are about to start making a 30 minute short film with director Adam Powell [Architects, Johnny Truant, Bring Me The Horizon]to accompany the release of new album 'Grey Britain' and are giving five of you the chance to be in it! "We wanted to make something big and bold," explains Frank Carter. "I wrote a script for every song on the record, but we decided to cut it down to six videos. Each video will run into the one before and then one after, and will also all play together as a kind of mini-film." As part of the Grey Britain film you'll also get to see the band performing some brand new songs live! To enter go to: www.everythingisfallingapart.com/comp
March 26, 200916 yr Author new video: 'The Vulture (Part II)': http://www.mtv.co.uk/artists/gallows/video...e-dirty-version
March 30, 200916 yr Heard the single today and I was really disappointed. I liked their previous album, but this was like heavy rock circa 1990 all over again. Sounded somewhat reminiscent of a tuneless version of Iron Maiden with extra-screamy vocals :(
April 28, 200916 yr Author not sure what to think of the album, now i have heard it. the sound of a pig being slaughtered is rather haunting.
