July 1, 200916 yr Actually I kinda agree. After "Black Butta" it goes a bit downhill and doesn't quite reach the levels of the first 6 tracks. I seem to be the only one who likes "Trade It Up" and I also like "Time Is On My Side", but mostly the Nashville Acousitic version which isn't on the album. I think I like the verses of Trade It Up, can't actually remember it atm  I liked TIOMS at the time of the album release well tbh I loved them all but in time I've gone off pretty much them all :(

You're a bit of a flop fan Simon. How can you GO OFF Bev?! -_- Affirmination is a much stronger album when you compare the 2 aswell. I actually agree, used to prefer MCS. I dunno though, MCS has my top two Bev songs on it but "Affirmation" has at least 6 amazing tracks. It's just let down a little but by a few weaker songs like "Under The Same Sun" and "Below My Radar", which are hard to get into.
July 2, 200916 yr Author I've just realised how little of the Affirmation album i have on my i-pod aswell. Downloading the rest now.
