We can now announce that Gaga is all set to challenge the UK to a Lovegame, releasing it as her fourth single over here.

 

Gaga will be making the first move on 21st September when it hits the shelves. it will be available on CD, 7" Picture Disc and there will of course be a bundle full of downloads.

 

The video, which if you've yet to see, you can catch for the first time on UK TV this Thursday on Channel 4 at 11:45pm.

Yay!!! So glad it's getting released, I can see it doing really well. I can easily see it going top 3, I've heard it on the radio in the last few days loads so that's a good start. :D

When people say it won't do well because the album has sold too much, I'd go against that because when Love Game has several remixes out on iTunes, won't that help Love Game in the mainstream chart?

That's a good point, this should have fairly strong physical sales, if not stronger than Paparazzi's. I'm just a bit sceptical still about if this is going to smash as much as people say it's going to, it is a 4th single after all. She's going to have to promote this much more than she did with Paparazzi for it to go top 10 and it needs to be A-listed on Radio 1 next week or the week after. .

But yeah, I would barely call it a major change.

This could/should go Top 40 in the next couple of weeks.

It debuts in the UK at #64 this week. :)

Up to #36 on iTunes. Top 40 by Sunday looks very likely and only after one week, it took Paparazzi ages to get into the top 40 so the pace makes it future success look extremely promising. Yay! :cheer:

Next week, it will probably jump 20 - 25 places leaving in just inside the top 40 or a couple of places outside.

 

Another top 5 hopefully. Guarenteed top 10 though :).

deffo another 400k plus single as Paparazzi will pass it soon and so will this. And with the lead from the deluxe as well as the second single from the deluxe i could see at least 6 Gold singles in a row. with half of them platinum.

 

I expect the release of the lead from deluxe will be late November/Early December with the album a week or two after and the second single February/March time.
