^ Ooh yay, keeps increasing quite a bit with every update and it's #12 on iTunes so top 20 should be easily guaranteed this week and it should follow the same pattern as the JD-PF switchover I think, except it's PF-LG switchover now, still pretty positive this'll snatch top 5 there although no.1 would be so much better, especially with the little major releases in the upcoming weeks. .

Lady Gaga ‘Very Pleased’ with new video

Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” and “Just Dance” are still burning up the charts and enjoying regular radio play, but she plans to keep it rolling and continue her pop-world domination with two new songs already on the horizon.

The New York native is excited about her new single, “Love Game,” and is eager for fans to check out the new video, directed by music-video vet Jonas Åkerlund, who has previously helmed clips for the Smashing Pumpkins, Madonna, Moby and U2. ” ‘Love Game’ is already on the radio, which is very exciting,” she told MTV News at the KIIS-FM Wango Tango music festival at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine, California. “And I just finished my video for ‘Paparazzi,’ which I really am very pleased with the way that turned out. It’s like a short film.”

But the singer isn’t just releasing songs off The Fame album — she’s already hard at work on some new music. However, don’t expect the collection of tunes to make it onto a traditional album release — these songs are more like a thank-you letter to her devoted fans. (Those fans also include Madonna, Kanye West and the Pussycat Dolls, whom she toured with earlier this year.) “I also started writing more music and I’m planning to release approximately six new songs by the end of the year,” she explained. “I’m just putting it out there … I don’t function on the same industry timeline as everyone else.”

wouldn't that be funny if Gaga knocks the song that knocked her off the top spot with a different song.

Haha, and wow that really makes me realise how long BBP has been #1  , Poker Face #1 seems like ages ago now.

Edit: #5 on iTunes now!

Should this get to #1 and should she decide to use this as her final US single from the original release, the first single from the re-release will most probably score her her 4th consecutive US number one as a debut artist. I think that would be a brand new record?
nah there will be another single from the original first 'cause it's only June and i wouldn't expect a new version until October/November time.

It won't. Mariah Carey's first 5 singles went to 1 in the US.
