lol I agree. She would have been 2 last week.

 

Basically GaGa needs to get her ass over to America and do an all out media blitz if she want's to get a 3rd consec #1. Really in like 2-3weeks is her chance seen as in just over a month (aprox.), from then on there's going to be Mariah Carey, Shakira, Nelly Furtado,Whitney Houston, Rihanna (?) and Christina Aguilera singles, and that's just the females.

Rises to 5 in the US.

Exactly my theory as well.

I think the same strategy would be implemented in the US as well for their fourth single (likely candidate: Paparazzi), which would follow the same fate as LG for 4th UK Single.

If there was no album re-release, the releasing of LG and Paparazzi as 4th UK and US singles would make sense because the era will need them as fillers and they'd be the best single choices.

But now that "The Fame Monster" is on its way, rushing into a 4th single won't do GaGa's reputation or success nearly as good as the 4th Fame single coming off as a new song from the re-release much like the success Rihanna had when releasing "Take A Bow" and "Disturbia" for "Good Girl Gone Bad Reloaded".

Re-releasing the album after 3 singles is a huge no no, 'LoveGame' will easily do well here (and 'Paparazzi' in the US) and then they can release the deluxe edition nearer christmas when sales are higher.

No they should release The Fame Monster in November after the first release off it. Otherwise if they release LoveGame we'd have to wait till February next year.

 

 

If LoveGame is released as 4th single the schedule would look like this

 

Jan - Apr - July - Oct -4 months for to build expectation - February - ect.

 

If the 4th single is from Monster the release schedule would look like this.

 

Jan - Apr - July - 4 months to build expectation - November - ect.

I think it would be better if the re-release along with its lead single comes more sooner than later but on the other hand I think LoveGame deserves a UK release and that it certainly does have potential to become quite a decent seller.
