max avatar's are 70*70 as any larger board load would be increased. I would rather have people see a 70*70 and browse a fast site than an 80*80 and having board load problems :)

 

What do you mean by new posts? If you have just signed up it will show that there are new posts in every forum.

What about the big siggies?!? I have them hidden, but it does slow the loading process...

yeah but big signatures are hosted on other sites and so as long as there not massive (ive had to remove a couple) then i dont mind. Its only avatars which are hosted here that affect our load.
