Posted January 18, 200916 yr Zagorasta, Kopečka XIII • Final Voting Kopečka welcomes the other 27 finalists warmly to its capital, Zagorasta; and its grand Chancellor Čermet Karasol bids commiserations to the 16 non-qualifiers but would like to politely remind them that leaving is not an option and that non-voting is unfortunately a crime punishable by execution by Canned Heat within Kopečka, as the ex-Triodopolitan and ex-Cascadian heads of delegation found out to their detriment :smoke: We hope that their newly appointed successors will not make the same mistake, nor any of the other countries' heads of delegation :kink: Our winner is amongst the following 28 songs, and having passed the test of the semi-finals, where we waved goodbye to FNT Nickodonia and the 100% qualification records possessed by the United States of Jack and Kellyana Kingdom; these nations will now all be fighting for your votes in order to receive the honour of being crowned the champions of the 13th edition of the BuzzJack Song Contest! We now see the runners-up of the previous edition, and the heavyweight champions of the contest as a whole, Mdiče, join the challenge, with Little Boots - Every Little Earthquake now eligible for your votes, along with the grand host nation, Kopečka, who have elected to send N.A.S.A.; Kanye West, Santogold and Lykke Li - Gifted to go for the record of becoming the first ever hosts to win. Will we succeed? Only your votes will decide :o So, the rules are as follows. You only vote in this contest provided you are an actual participating contestant, or participated in the semi-finals. EVERYONE, regardless of whether they qualified or not, votes in the final of the contest. The voting system is, as in past contests, based on the traditional Eurovision-style method of giving votes - 1 point given to your 10th favourite song, 2 points to your 9th favourite, 3 points to your 8th favourite, 4 points to your 7th favourite, 5 points to your 6th favourite, 6 points to your fifth favourite, 7 points to your fourth favourite, 8 points to your third favourite, 10 points to your second favourite, and finally, the all-important 12 points to your favourite entry. The penalty for not voting will be a 33% points deduction if you are in the final, or automatic disqualification from BJSC XIV if you are an eliminated semi-finalist. Listen to all of the songs in your semi-final before you decide, but don't leave voting to the last minute - you never know when your internet will choose to play up, or if you might forget to vote in time! Votes are of course sent by PM to the host (moi ;o).
