Annie Kicks Off In Fortunia

 

The Kingdom of Shadow's entry into BJSC XVI has kicked off her tour of BJ nations today in Fortunia. With Kristina DeBarge quickly becoming a favorite for the compeition, Annie was the latest to wish the American good luck in getting through SF2. This is the Great Kingdom's second time enterring a Norwegian artist to the contest and they'll be hoping Annie can replicate Dame Margaret Berger's legendary win in BJSC IX this time round. Annie kicked off her set with the help of Royksopp and her single 'Heartbeat'. Next up was 'I know Your Girlfriend Hates Me' before she got the crowds moving with her XVI entry 'Anthonio'.

I am withdrawing from BJSC for the time being. I can't go on having people accusing me of things I haven't done without knowing the facts. Even though I don't know you, and probably never will, I have too much pride and dignity, and couldn't let even someone in the street think I'm a bad person when I am not. Before anything gets worse and Fortunia are accused of even more things they haven't done, Fortunia officially withdraw. Thanks everyone the contest was really fun while I lasted, so I'm sad to be leaving, but what can I do? I can't stay with everyone hating me for, once again, something I haven't even done but that's life and you learn to live it.
