May 7, 200916 yr Eeeeeeeeeeeee :w00t: *sets Sky+* I've got to be honest, I'm getting a bit obsessed...
May 8, 200916 yr She has improved that a lot. That was in early performances, but I think she has sorted it now.
May 9, 200916 yr Rehearsal: 7ldCuQhnPyE Not sure if I like the set-up, she seems to be moving about too much and walking too fast for the pace of the song.
May 9, 200916 yr I think it's pretty cool. Two violinists in white and two in black is good. I don't know if I like the steps or not, but the staging is good :)
May 15, 200916 yr dont understand the excitement, jade is undoubtedly the WORST ever entry we have presented. she might not get 'nul points' , but she wont be far off.
May 15, 200916 yr Um, yeah  Worst how? Worse than Scooch? Worse than Jemini? Worse than Kenneth McKellar (maybe that's your era...) :kink:

What are you on about? :/ Have you even been LISTENING for the last few years? Jade is vastly better than Andy Abraham, and it's a professionally presented, memorable ballad amongst a sea of up-tempo (in context anyway), which will stand out near the end...I can guarantee she won't be bottom five, the juries will love it.
May 15, 200916 yr How can anyone with working ears call Jade a worse entry than Jemini, Andy Abraham & Daz Sampson?

May 15, 200916 yr LOL No offense Mushy but that's one of the stupidest things I've ever read on here. :heehee: Agreed on that... She is gonna be in top 10 that's for sure...and she is way better than the air hostess crew from couple years ago... Song is pretty good even for someone who doesn't like ballades.
May 15, 200916 yr Apparently, according to Okiotimes , Jade's dress rehersal performance (the ones the juries were watching to make their marks) was good, but a little nervious and did miss a note or two  UNITED KINGDOM VOCAL PERFORMANCE: She missed a couple of notes but overall she was very good STAGE PRESENTATION: Problems at the beginning with the stairs CAMERA WORK: The songs ends with Webber applauding and smiling at Jade AUDIENCE REACTION: Extremely warm CURRENT ESTIMATION: 1-5 She can't have blundered any notes too much, or they wouldn't have predicted 1-5, surely  I'm sure any nerves will be sorted for tomorrow now she's done it 'properly' once. The 'problem' with the stairs are apparently to do with the setting up, not that Jade's heels are too high to get down them  Quite a few shots of ALW apparently, and an overall positive performance.
May 15, 200916 yr I read that there was too much ALW, and that he looks a bit smug. Then again, I would be pleased with myself if I had revived British Eurovision in the way he has, or at least hopes too :) I am sure the vocals will be PERFECT on the night  By the way, now 41 on iTunes
May 15, 200916 yr Generally professional pianists do look a little smug when they play I think  It's something people like Myleene Klass etc are cricized for aswell often ... I think it's something in their genes!! And to be fair, I'd look permenantly smug if I was ALW, haha. I'm not too worried about the vocals to be honest. It's a shame she hit a bad note tonight when it counts, but I'm certain juries will have supported Jade. I'm mostly worried about the bloody steps! It's gonna make us look completely incompetent if the song starts as the steps collapse
