March 8, 200916 yr I'm sorry but The Sun is the worst paper out there. If I want a cheap and celebrity read i'll buy The Star just for its comic value. Like I said before The Sun itself is cancer (and of the worst form). The people that buy into is just cos 'its cheap' are just all brainwashed. It's not a newspaper, it's just like a printed copy of Digital Spy, with a bit of $h!t reported sports news and a pair of tits. Its stories are fabricated on lies. The whole exclusive it ran on Hillsborough was lies. Absolutely disgusting, sick lies. And the cunt who ordered the story to be published has never even apologised to this day even though its known lies. :manson: It's just a sick and trashy paper, and the fact that it is the #1 selling 'newspaper' in Britain really says something about our country.
March 8, 200916 yr As I've said many times on other forums, if the Sun is such a bad newspaper then why is it far and away the biggest UK seller. It outsells the second, The Mirror isn't it, BY A MILE. People seem to conveniently avoid that question of mine. Why the f*** do you always fall for argumentum ad populum? I suppose Hitler is the best German leader by the same token... Just because it sells loads doesn't make it a good newspaper! Popular doesn't always mean good Chris...

Just because it sells loads doesn't make it a good newspaper! Popular doesn't always mean good Chris... It's subjective though. Those who buy it must think it's a good newspaper and those who don't buy it obviously think it's not good!!
March 8, 200916 yr It's subjective though. Those who buy it must think it's a good newspaper and those who don't buy it obviously think it's not good!! Vile is not an offensive enough word to describe people like you. Maybe you should go up to Liverpool and say what a great newspaper The Sun is. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/6/67/Hillsborough_disaster_Sun.jpg To quote Anfield born comedian Alexei Sayle "If I saw Kelvin Mackenzie or Rupert Murdoch on fire, I'd go grab some petrol..."
March 8, 200916 yr It's subjective though. Those who buy it must think it's a good newspaper and those who don't buy it obviously think it's not good!! My oh my Chris, someone's changed their argument  You were using the Sun's sales pretty objectively earlier :P And also, by the same token those who voted for Hitler must have thought he was a great man and it was all subjective etc. ;)
March 8, 200916 yr The Sun is not a good paper. I've read it before. $h!te journalism, $h!te sources, $h!te stories. If I give it one credit, it's that it's pretty much the same paper as it was 25 years ago... still a rag full of lies.
March 8, 200916 yr Someone else clearly is fed up with all the coverage :o :o Terminally ill reality TV star Jade Goody has been confronted in hospital by a woman leaning over her holding a hammer, according to her spokesman. Max Clifford said Ms Goody's husband had left her for a few minutes when the intruder entered her room at the Royal Marsden Hospital in west London. The star was not hurt but was left "very shaken up", he added. Scotland Yard said a 41-year-old woman had been arrested for possession of an offensive weapon. Ms Goody has only weeks to live after her cervical cancer spread to her liver, groin and bowel. 'Not hurt' Mr Clifford said security had been stepped up around Ms Goody following the incident. He said her husband, Jack Tweed, had only just left her room when the intruder entered. "Jack had been with her for a few hours and had gone to get a cup of tea in the canteen when this happened," Mr Clifford added. "She woke up to find this woman leaning over her. "She was not hurt but was very shaken up as you can imagine." A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police confirmed that a woman had been taken into custody in west London after she was found to be in possession of a hammer. Ms Goody had been resting after a christening ceremony at the hospital the previous day. Her sons Bobby, five, and Freddy, four, were also christened during what Mr Clifford called a "very short and emotional service". http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7931705.stm
March 9, 200916 yr Its stories are fabricated on lies. Spot on.... Anyone who makes excuses for this "newspaper" is frankly in need of a reality check.... McKenzie and Murdoch are probably pretty much the lowest forms of life out there.... No one would possibly take The Star seriously, so I dont really see that adult comic as being as big a problem....
March 9, 200916 yr Yes but tbh Grimley I doubt the average Sun, Mirror, Star or NOTW really cares about what's happening in Columbia, Brazil, China or India etc. I certainly don't. It doesn't really affect our lives so won't sell papers. A big Celebrity headline means increased sales that day. It's a fact and has been proved time and time again. Each daily paper prints what they think their readership wants to read. I doubt that a story about Shakira opening schools would result in many thousands of increased sales. I bet if they thought it would then they'd print it tomorrow. Newspapers are there to make a PROFIT. The Sun's readership has actually INCREASED since Jade's illness was first publicised. So people WANT TO READ ABOUT IT even if a few don't. People love reading about celebrities. FACT. If every day they printed a Jade story sales slumped then they'd soon drop coverage or lessen it. As I've said many times on other forums, if the Sun is such a bad newspaper then why is it far and away the biggest UK seller. It outsells the second, The Mirror isn't it, BY A MILE. People seem to conveniently avoid that question of mine. People "love" reading about celebrities because the demand for it has been invented by media conglomerates to keep the population uninformed and docile.... You are seriously a person who needs to watch Noam Chomsky's absolutely brilliant documentary "Manufacturing Consent - Noam Chomksy and the Media", an absolutely scalpel sharp dissection of the way the media misinforms and keeps us in the dark about what's really going on in the world by feeding us sh!te...... In fact, I would recommend it to ALL Scum, Daily Fascist, Mirror or Star bummers...... Once you watch this, you'll never buy a Tabloid again.....
March 9, 200916 yr Apparently Michael Jackson phoned Jade at the hospital and she had quite a long conversation with him. He's promised her, Jack and the kids best tickets for his July shows. Doubt she'll be using them though. Also Max Clifford has said that a Hollywood movie about Jade is likely.
March 9, 200916 yr The money will go to Jack and the rest of the family If the song was to raise money for cancer research and to fund awareness of cervical cancer I would probably buy the song but this is just more drug and booze money for Jack Tweed :rolleyes; Is that legit....? So, not even the Imperial Cancer Research Fund is gonna benefit out of this "charity" single...... FUKKIN' DISGUSTING if true...... <_< How can you seriously call it a charity record if an actual charity aint even benefitting...... I'm sorry, but the Jack Tweed Coke and Booze Fund is not any kind of recognised charity that I've ever heard of......
March 9, 200916 yr Dear oh f***ing lord, I'm sorry but they're all so vile and the mere concept of these people make me die a bit inside =[. Just watching GMTV and Max Clifford was on the phone saying how she's planning a march to 10 Downing St. [OR SOMETHING, I DIDN'T/COULDN'T REALLY LISTEN] about lowering the age for cervical cancer screenings to 20 years old. I love how he put little to no emphasis on the fact that Look magazine started this campaign and it's all down to them...because obviously it's not....it's Jade Goody since she's the one suffering from it...
March 9, 200916 yr Why would you even consider letting a TV camera film your funeral in the first place? why not? its nothing new.... the cameras film many 'well known peoples' funerals.
March 9, 200916 yr It's subjective though. Those who buy it must think it's a good newspaper and those who don't buy it obviously think it's not good!! the sun isnt a newspaper, its a comic for adults who cant be bothered to engage their brains.
March 9, 200916 yr the sun isnt a newspaper, its a comic for adults who cant be bothered to engage their brains. I think we'll have to agree to disagree then. :P

Any bandwagon that the C/unt Clifford can jump onto and hijack and make out like it was HIS idea all the long he will do so.... He is an unmitigated, shameless whore who frankly if I saw him on fire, I'd be throwing petrol... (just to borrow from Alexei Sayle... ) A surely better angle would be to highlight the shameless postcode lottery that exists when it comes to receiving the proper drugs and care..... Now that is the real scandal... And yet, Jade/Clifford's silence on this issue is utterly deafening..... Naaah, better to jump on the bandwagon of an already existing campaign rather than think up your own ideas innit.....? <_<
March 9, 200916 yr why not? its nothing new.... the cameras film many 'well known peoples' funerals. Not the actual moment of death though.... And, anyway, sorry, but just what the fukk makes her so bloody important anyway... I mean, sorry, is she fukkin' Princess Di or summat....? Wendy Richards has just died of cancer as well, we didn't go around filming her funeral or making a bloody media spectacle out of that one did we....? What, Wendy Richards and her LIFE LONG acting career since the early 70s during which time she's acted in one of the most loved comedy shows of all time and one of the longest running soaps in the world, not as fukkin' important as Jade bloody Godly is it.....? <_< <_<
