Yeah, okay, RIP Jade, blah, blah....

Now, can we actually get on with our lives without all the big boo-hooing and treating her like "Saint" Diana.....?

And, frankly, I agree with the poster who said the sudden and tragic death of Natasha Richardson (who, unlike Jade, never sold her soul for tabloid gold) is a FAR greater loss to our art and culture.....

Hmm, I just cant see Clifford being able to do that without someone letting slip. Theres always someone who would let it out...

Would he take the chance? Time will tell I suppose!

Yeah I am just so cynical about the whole thing, maybe its because Max Clifford is involved I dunno but anything involving Clifford is suspect

I have read several forums and media tributes today and so much mention is made everywhere and even on here about the mothers day effect and yeah if her death was announced yesterday it would not have the same effect as dying on mothers day so either it is a freaky twist of fate or Clifford has something to do with this, a large part of me thinks the latter

I highly doubt Max Clifford had anything to do with her death occurring on Mother's Day.

Yes, he may be vile in every way, but I think delaying the news of someone's death or even lying about WHEN they died is too far, even for him

Exactly.

Not everything in the world is some crazed conspiracy theory

Typical on Mother's Day out of all days, she be plastered all over the papers for the next day or 2.

Sorry to be blunt, but thank god its over, I've literally had enough of seeing her mug shot on every paper going.

I do feel sorry for the kids, it is going to be dreadful for them to grow up losing their mum at aged 4 and 5 and having the media hound them all their lives

Yeah I agree about Natasha Richardson, a woman of class, decency, intelligence, dignity, I feel more sorry about her death than I do out of someone who made millions because she got drunk and flashed her "kebab" on tv curled up on a sofa like a vietnamese pot bellied pig that had accidently cross bred with a manx cat

£8m meal ticket >>>

Edited by Martin etc.
not appropriate

^ Whilst I feel sorry for the kids I do hope the fade into obscurity. I don't need another generation of the family. But sadly I dont expect that to happen.

I wonder how long before their first interview and photoshoot :(

INAPPROPRIATE, MUCH?

You could at least show a BIT of respect

Agreed. While there is no doubt that Natasha had more to offer us in terms of acting talent, the idea that it makes her life more valuable than a "stupid, ugly" woman from a poor background is repulsive to me.

Of course the amount of attention for Jade's illness and death is completely disproportionate, but in all honesty, Natasha's death wouldn't have made the front pages of any British newspapers if she wasn't married to Liam Neeson or the daughter of acting legends or the sister of Joeley. She was a very well respected Broadway actress, but well respected Broadway actresses with a few film roles don't normally get the attention Natasha got.

It's horribly sad for both families and everyone who knew either of them.

RIP Jade etc

Obviously it's a great shame a woman lost her life at such a young age and 2 children are now motherless but am i effected anymore than when anyone else loses their battle with cancer, no.

A death is a death, Jade's death is no less sad than Natasha Richardson's or Doris Smith from #52 Acacia Avenue, a death is a death but Natasha Richardson deserves more RESPECT than Jade as she conducted herself with class and dignity and had talent whereas Jade did anything but conduct herself with class and dignity be it the "kebab" episode, her lack of general knowledge, her conduct on celeb bb, the tacky way she sold out to the press when she became sick, I think Natasha Richardson who was a family woman and a consumate professional in her trade deserves more RESPECT but no death is more sad than another

I agree with some points you make. I was sad to hear of Natashas death but bar the odd film I didn't even know her or the fact she was Liams wife.

Im no Jade fan and I've certainly had alot of dislike for her over the years but to me personally this feels more of a loss because I think we all knew Jade.

I know many criticised the way she lived the past few months but I admire her still doing what she considered her "job" and being honest enough to say it was to provide for her boys.

Some of you people make me sick to the stomach. A woman with 2 kids has just died and it's TRAGIC.

Yes, she might have sold every bit of her life to the papers but she is now dead, and if you haven't got anything nice to say- then don't.

Urgh, I'm not going to sy much apart from I hope she can now rest in peace and that the gutter press leave her to. I don't like how it was fine to (rightly) abuse her a year ago, but then as soon as she's got cancer and now she's died anyone who says anything bad about her is looked down on huely. As i it makes her any less vile... -_-

I'm actually quite shocked by some people's reactions.

My thoughts go out to all of Jade's family, especially her two children. However controversial, I believe she had a good heart and I am genuinely saddened to hear this news, no one deserves to die so young and of such a horrific disease as cancer. I hope her final moments were peaceful.

It's not a case of not being respectful to Jade and her family, what annoys me is the public reaction and press she was getting. This is ONE person. Why do people mourn one person who they did not know so much when thousands of others die of the same disease? That's what annoys me.

Around 185,000 people in the UK die of cancer each year. -_-

and that is why this Jade obsession kicked off. You can't have every single cancer sufferer on the front page of the newspaper but when a 'celebrity', who is already in the public eye suffers, then it is symbolic of the other 185,000. I'm sure everyone has been affected by this disease in one way or another and so it is a very emotive subject for many.
