Posted February 4, 200916 yr Walsh 'ready' to launch new girl band By David Balls, Entertainment Reporter Source: digitalspy Louis Walsh has announced that he is ready to launch his new girlband. The X Factor judge is currently working on securing a record contract for the Irish five-piece and claims that things are "looking great". "I've organised a couple of meetings with some record executives for the start of next month, there's been plenty of interest in the girls so I expect to see something happening there shortly," he told The Irish Herald. "They're five very talented girls and they all look great together. They also have plenty of ambition, so getting a deal for them shouldn't prove too much of a problem. I was just too busy before now with X Factor and everything else but the next few months will see things moving for them." The band, who have yet to be given a name, made their debut on Irish television late last year. The Saturdays recently claimed that the music manager was threatening them by saying his girlband would be in direct competition with the 'Issues' singers.

Maybe the Saturdays will get some slack on here then. I'm sure the Saturdays haters will hate anything Louis Walsh launches a whole lot more. Why does Louis seem to have a rule that he can only manage bands if they're Irish?

February 4, 200916 yr didn't Louis Walsh manage the Irish girlband Bellefire? as much as I liked them, they weren't exactly a huge success...
