The thing is to respect electricity, not fear it....if you fear it, that's what gets one into trouble with it.... :)

I'm having serious PC problems tonight. Everything is running very slow and screens are just hanging. And it ain't just on the internet either. Hope my hard drive isn't about to go belly up :blink:

 

So if I suddenly disappear for a few weeks you'll know what's happened :blink:

I've had a terrible day :(

 

I was down at the garden centre buying some flowers and I loaded everything in to the boot. Then I walked round to get in the car and whacked my head right into the corner of the driver's door. I now have a massive big bump like an egg on my forehead. It's going a variety of shades of blue now. :(

 

Anyway, that's not all.

 

I was driving home clutching my head when all of a sudden a warning light and buzzer came on on my dashboard. So I gets home and reads the manual. 'TAKE TO GARAGE IMMEDIATELY FOR INSPECTION' it says. But the garage is 16 miles away and I was scared it was going to explode on me. So I've had the AA out. One of my coils is burned out apparently. So the very nice man from the AA accompanied me to the garage, warning me to drive under 50mph (which would have been well nigh impossible anyway given the lack of power in my engine). I got there ok and have left said car. It's all under warranty but it's going to be Tues before I get it back. <_<

 

I'll need to book a taxi to get to work on Monday. And I'll no doubt have a black eye and a bump the size of a football by then.....

It really hurts don't it, I done something similar once, leant into a car from outside to talk to someone in the passenger

seat and caught the top of my eye on the corner of the door.

 

:unsure: can you not ask the garage to give you a courtesy car to get around until yours is fixed?

 

 

I asked. They had no cars available to give me :(

We got a courtessy car at the moment, when I say we, I mean Mr Sparkle cos I can't drive -_-

some idiot drove into the back of our car last week, made a right mess of it :cry:

 

anyway, I expected a little KA or corsa, something like that, they delivered a tank! :lol: huge car, drinks

loads of petrol :wacko:

I asked. They had no cars available to give me :(
