switzerlands song is really growing on me

YEAH. Ukraine is gonna blow everyone's minds UP.

I've just had a skim through some of the entries.

 

First of to get the obvious out of the way, UK will come last or second to last on the count of:

 

a) we're British

B) we send a completely unknown singer YET AGAIN!

c) the song is a load of unmemorable bollocks

 

We haven't obviously learnt anything from the past umpteen years, oh well at least she isn't Nicki French....

 

I think Ukraine and Bulgaria (yup, it's those Eastern Bloc countries again) have clearly made the effort and I think they'll both end up in the top five results.

 

Ukraine did that "Shady Lady" last year, I thought that was ace!

I would say Switzerland has a good chance, the song has mass appeal (although it isn't my bag by any means) and they are well known throughout Europe.

 

The song itself isn't camp or theatrical, which I doubt will help.

The English version is quite nice actually. I'm actually a little "meh" about Slovenia, though I usually love them...
