The results are going to be staggered over a long weekend.

There are some shocks in store - including a tie for the #1 spot. One track got more 11s so took the gold.

Let's begin.

15. Bedtime Story [60 points]

Best score: 9 x2

Worst score: 0 x3

Something has to come last. And it was Madonna's odd collaboration with Bjork that gets that honour.

I'm not sure what to think of this song. It never quite gets going and Bjork's strange lyrics sound much better when pronounced with an icelandic accent.

I think Madonna had better songs during the 90s and 00s that could have been included on the best-of instead of this.

Anyway, performed at the Brits. Weird song, weirder video.

14. Don't Cry For Me Argentina [66 points]

Best score: 8 x2

Worst score: 0 x2

So we don't like Bjork and we don't like showtunes.

This song was never going to do that well - it's one of just two songs not to recieve 10 or higher from any poster. Though it's not about sex or Jesus, this track was quite controversial in its own right. The Argentinians were furious that Madonna (seen as a bit of a tart after the 'Sex' book) was playing one of their greatest figures, Eva Peron. Many critics also said that Madonna did not have the voice for this song.

I don't think that's fair. The song is from a musical so it's been sung by hundreds of people across the world as standard. Do these critics throw things at the understudy when it's performed on Broadway? I hope not! So, why complain when Madonna does it? The 'Evita' album features Madonna's strongest vocal performances - it's very hard to sing dialogue as quickly as she has to on some of the songs.

This track went up against the Spice Girls for Christmas #1. It did not manage that feat but it was Madonna's first top 3 hit for 4 years: {3}-5-10-5-7-12-21-34-35-51-62-73->12

12. What It Feels Like For A Girl [87 points]

Best score: 10 x1

Worst score: 0 x1

I love this song but it is not a big favourite among fans. Still, I thought it could have done better than #12.

A mid-tempo track from 'Music' which was not a massive hit on the charts. This song came out when Guy/Madonna mania was at its height. There were lots of articles in Heat and other mindless publications (Madonna's washing her car! Look at what she's wearing! Lo, Madonna hath spoken: "Cowboy hats are back!" etc) and I think that distracted people. All the noise stopped people from noticing how strong this song is.

The track was stripped of all melody for a dance remix which accompanied a controversial, Granny-killing video.

The spoken word intro is taken from the film "The Cement Garden". The film is an adaptation of an Ian McEwan novel about incest.

12. Secret [87 points]

Best score: 10 x1

Worst score: 0 x1

This was the first Madonna song I ever heard. I was listening to the top 40 in the garden when I was 9. 'Secret' came on and I said to myself 'This is rubbish. Why is this woman so famous?'

The song, and the artist, have both grown on me over time. Good job really or else doing this rate would be quite a chore!

The humming is probably the best bit. The other time I can remember Madonna having a good hum is on my second-favourite Madonna song of this decade ('Isaac'). She should do it more often.

And we don't know what her baby's secret is. Or at least I haven't worked it out. I suppose that's why it's a secret.

11. Erotica [87 points]

Best score: 10 x 1

Worst score: 4 x2

It's not strictly a song but it is great. Many of the lyrics are taken from the 'Sex' book where a woman with a strange name teaches people 'how to f-uck'. It's nice of Madonna to help people with their GCSEs, I suppose. Though I don't see how cussing will help her pupils' grades.

And during the chorus, she seems to be singing to Bill Oddie, the bird-watcher.

The video was criticised for its sexual content. As was the song. And the book. Madonna was satirised by Spitting Image to being a clothes-dropper: a puppet version of her flashed a puppet version of Jeremy Paxman.

Even Absolutely Fabulous had a dig at her slutty new image:

EDINA Madonna has offices round here. I almost had sex with her, you know.

PATSY Didn't we all?

The top ten will begin tomorrow. Please leave comments.

Are any songs too low?

Who will be #1?

What songs should have been on 'GHV2' instead of these songs you've voted as duds?

What It Feels Like For A Girl and Secret are my favourites... too bad they're too low!
Not sure who's going to be no.1 i guess Power Of Goodbye will be in the top 3.
