Look at the Tracklisting for that Pete Tong show from the Radio 1 website-

It's called 'Radio Dubs' - definite re-mix then. And why 'White Label' as the record company? Who they?

White label isn't a record company, I just googled it and found this:

The name white label comes from the fact that most promo records used to be sent out in an unfinished state, with the label completely white. The term incorporates any record that is not a finished product, including promos, test pressings and dub plates

Well Done Inspector Sparkle ;)

What's a Dub Plate?

I found this. <_<

The Dub Plate

A Dub Plate is a special pressing used by DJs to play an exclusive mix or pre-release track. Normally an acetate is used and can only be played a few times before the sound deteriorates.

With the advent of vinyl pressers for home use DJs have been able to make their own vinyl dub plates. The term is misused by many vendors of dance music who sell test pressings or even promos as dub plates.

I actually like it! Quite a cool vibe. Just love Robbie's 30 seconds and it is again in the true Robbie manner quite infectious.

OK, club mixes are not my scene either, but that is another market for him to open up. He has the talent for it and not every artist can do it. We are lucky fans to admire someone who has a broad range of idea's and

not scared to try it.

I guessed it was a sampler or a test release just to see if it would go down well. I think it will be quite a 'hit' in the clubs, well I hope so.

Anyway, as this is not the real track as such, if Robbie sings that medody on the finished product throughout the track, then I am sunk and reeled in, it is cool.

I really love Rob's 15 seconds of fame in this song :cheer: ...could take or leave the first 3 minutes though. If the single is more commercial and Rob sings (or raps) all the way through as Karmakiller said....then I think it could be a winner. Either way I hope it is a huge success for him

You have to admire his guts....no matter what you think of it :)

If this is only a sampler then i am already hooked....i just love it, have listened to it many times today and its supirisingly very catchy.

Thumbs Up from me Robbie.....especially the way he says 'rudebox'.

I like the bit at the end where Rob sings. It is funny i suppose but the first 3 minutes are simply :puke2:
I think the end part where he does sing is OK, so if the real version has him singing (or rapping) all the way through then it could be very interesting. :D
I don't like it but there again I don't like this sort of thing, so its not surprising.

I keep listening to it, hoping that I may like it, but I don't :puke2:

Maybe itll grow on me

I don't like this sort of thing either....but it sounded great live in Amsterdam

Yes well in Amsterdam he did the rap did'nt he?

This is only the remix, lets hope the real version is far far better :D

i can't find it on the site
