they are meant to be awful live though, apparently really sloppy and out of time.

They can be, I've seen them play a few times.... They get too p!ssed before going onstage....

.....Does anyone actually give a sh!t about MM anymore....?

I Do!!!

My cousin saw him (albeit a couple years ago) and said the performance was AMAZING!!!! Then again, he is a Manson Freak.

I dunno .... but we're booking our tickets tonight so I guess I'll find out soon enough. :w00t:

God, why....? The material on his past two albums veer from average to bloody awful...... The last time I saw MM was about 5 years ago, and frankly, he just wasn't even trying, the support band, Queen Adreena, just pished all over them IMO, more abrasive, more edgy than the extremely dull set that MM put on.... I saw MM at his peak, the Antichrist Superstar/Mechanical Animals days, and really he WAS a great performer..... It seems to me that without Twiggy/Jordy he's nothing.... Twiggy was clearly the ying to his yang, and FAR more important to MM the band than Manson is willing to admit......

TBH (a predictable Chris repsonse:) Manson is nothing when he hasnt been working with Mr Reznor. (which he hasnt done for quite awhile now).

Naaaah, Mechanical Animals and Holy Wood are both good albums IMO... My fave of his IS probably "Antichrist Superstar", which was the last album he co-produced with Reznor..... I really think that Manson only went wrong when he chucked Twiggy out, as Twig was writing most of the actual music..... Cant really be a coincidence that when Twiggy walked, Manson went downhill......

Cant wait for the Saturday lineup! It is going to be huge. The only thing that might make this the best lineup is Pendulum covering Metallica. The crowd will go insane on this one...

not a great line up tbh, Sonisphere is better (might be getting tickets to that :o ) i think Download stream performances online, so i'll watch out for the Slipknot one.

Download didn't stream last year, I think?

There are fewbands that I would like to see in D/L:

1st stage

Killswitch Engage, Slipknot, Hollywood Undead, Journey

2nd stage

Prodigy, Opeth, Lacuna Coil

Anyway, about Sonisphere, quite interesting and great line-up.

There are less bands that I haven't heard of than D/L too.
