How can the 7" have sold out on pre-order?! Has anyone actually got it? Are the stores selling it Matt? Bought the CD and Bimbo edit already, will buy the others when i get home to my iTunes :P

 

My store doesn't sell singles :( Only charity ones like Comic Relief now.

 

Checked the system today at work, to seeif I could have ordered it, and nope it's been deleted for sure :(

Still outside top 10 and gap has increased.

 

Love seeing some fans thinking along the lines of 'Untouchable is too special to be just another top 10 hit for Girls Aloud. If any song was to be the one to miss the top 10 it was meant to be this one.'

Me2 Matt! Will try 2 HMVs in the city today, i know they sell vinyl singles, sadly my local ones don't :(

I'm happy with #11 personally.

Personally I think the radio mix trumps the album version but there are people who prefer the album version and they're not gonna download it again or download a version they don't even want. I'm over the moon. So what it may miss the top ten, they're still selling records, selling out tours and producing fantastic albums. Top ten or no top ten...Girls Aloud we love you.

Considering the fact that the album was out half a year ago, that it sold over 700k, that they promoted the song only once and over a month before the release, we can only be pleasead with it being #11 :o

 

And anyway, this will be their 21st consecutive top20 hit :D Not many bands can claim that too hehe :lol:

If you go here http://www.7digital.com/virgintrains, putting in VIRGIN7 and your email, they will email you a code, then get to the checkout part of buying after choosing your tracks on 7Digital and on the left hand side at the top there is a box to put the code in. Do this for 'Untouchable' and you will get the tracks for free!

i don't understand why the girls aloud fans are so bothered about getting this top ten like all their other singles. they obviously aren't that bothered or else they'd be here promoting it.

 

and btw i'm not knocking them, it's just the truth..

the sun had it in the paper the other day anout untouchable looking set to breal their run of top 10 hits,#11 is great considering ots from a very successfull album but i would still like them to keep their run of top 10 hits going although i know ifthis misses the top 10 they still will have many more top 10 hits in the future

unotucable has kept the girls run of top 20 hits in ireland every single has made the top 20 and this week untouchable climbs 12 places to number 19

 

also greatest hits climbs 29 places to number 47

out of control climbs 15 places to number 50

Apparenly it is #11 with 21,000 sales taking its total so far to 56,000. This is brilliant considering The Loving Kind got to #10 with 19,000 and total of 48,000 and Can't Speak French was #9 with 17,000 sales

the sales are gret which make sit harder not to see it go top 10 but it will outsell a few of their top 10 hits overall

yeah the sales are great but i hope the management take notice and they plan just one appearance on one show and maybe it stays in the top 20 while the tour :D

Oh well, I've sort of come round to way of thinking that of all the songs to be different Untouchable is the one deserved to be remembered the most :wub:

 

Just a shame to get to #11. Bit of a kick in the teeth for some fans who will no doubt be devestated.

 

 

well it would be nice if it climbed again next week we can live in hope but if not number 11 is very respectable

 

the album has done so well this week up 19 places to number 33....thats 26 weeks now and the album will easily manage a 30 week consecutive run,im hopeing the single and the tour will help the album make a top 20 return in the next few weeks

I know people hate comparing Girls Aloud to the Spice Girls - But this is their version of 'Stop'. It breaks the record, but becomes a firm favorite! And so sets a new record all together (until you decide to rejoin and make a crappy come back single) :lol:
