June 19, 200619 yr we will hopefully find out tommorrow I have a feeling it will bomb and sink :(
June 19, 200619 yr got my copy of it today, dont know why it just feels better this time! and the album looks better its got 2 big stickers on it which makes it stand out so much more!
June 19, 200619 yr Author I think it will chart badly again but it shouldn't so i hope it can go top 20, i prey top 10.
June 25, 200619 yr #14! Good position. :yahoo: I've heard most of this album and I like it more than 'Laundry Service', it's on my "to get" list. :P
June 25, 200619 yr I listened to Radio 1 and JK and Joel slagged it off - it pissed me off what they said because they basically made out that it was a completely rubbish album.
June 25, 200619 yr I know, one of them said "I listened to this album and couldn't find anything I wanted to play today", I was like "HELLO?! Animal City and Costume Makes The Clown are more than worthy of a play alone". <_<
June 25, 200619 yr OMG t****...every song is great...just probably no song is average enough for the Radio 1 playlist
June 25, 200619 yr I think 14 is good - considering there has been zero promotion for Hips Don't Lie or the album this time round. It should hopefully stay top 20 as well for a bit and then maybe the world cup will have an effect but to be honest - I don't think it will have a hige effect on the album - mainly just the single. Hopefully when the next single is released there will be some promotion so the album might manage a nice run in the top 40. I don't think it'll crack top 10 which is a shame but never say never.
June 25, 200619 yr Author I think the world cup will get it in the top 10, i don't see why they slagged it off and i'm really pissed off with radio ones f ucking "indi music is the best and should only be played" c**p that they have got going on.
June 25, 200619 yr It was the most stupid comments as well. "Just cuz you've sold over 25 million albums - doesn't make the album good.....................cheers." GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Songs like Hey You and Animal City - surely an absolute Shakira hater could see something positive in simple songs like that.
