I, like often, disagree with you Jake. :P I think it's much better then their previous albums, as much as I loved 'Dying to Say This to You' I found it awfully samey and forgettable in parts. This record has got a bit more about it... they've tried to do something with a little more depth and I like it lots, although they still haven't lost their 'party band' roots as most of the songs are pretty catchy I think.

I'm more with Jonny on this, I have to say. Probably my favourite album of theirs to date.

'Crossing the Rubicon' and 'My Lover' are my favourite tracks at the moment.

I have to say I do quite like this album as a stand-alone thing...VERY different to Dying To Say This To You though. I wanted another party album :( Yeah, the tracks are catchy but nowhere near enough so to still have the whole party band label :P I agree with Jake that it is a fairly forgettable album - it took a third listen for it to click with me.

My faves are probably Dorchester Hotel and Crossing the Rubicon - which would've been even more epic if it'd been longer! :(

I agree with Jake. It's completely forgettable. :/ I've listened to the whole thing and can't tell you how a single track goes...It's quite boring imo, and a disappointment (though I wasn't a huge fan of Dying to Say This To You to be fair, thus I wasn't expecting much).

They're trying to mix being serious with their partyness and it sorta just results in a bland album imo. Typical indie.

Dorchester Hotel is alright, though.
