People are critisizing Nadine for holding the Girls up because, well she is. They have been on their hiatus for over a year, and she has not released any of her material. Some people might say that Cheryl is also holding the Girls up with her second album, but the only reason she has decided to do that is because Nadine is taking so long to release her album.

Nicola Roberts has hit out at reports which continue to claim that Girls Aloud will reunite without Nadine Coyle.

Appearing on GMTV, Roberts told guest host Kirsty Gallacher that the reports are unfair on the group’s fans. Kimberley Walsh also recently denied the stories.

Roberts confirmed that the band are still on their break but said that they will begin planning their comeback at the end of the year.

“We’re all still of doing our own thing,” she said. “Our break hasn’t been up yet, we’re supposed to have a year off so at the end of the year, we’ll start to regroup and talk about the future plans and stuff. But at the moment we’re all kind of dabbling in different things.”

On the Coyle reports, she added: “I think it’s one of those things that as a band we’ve always kind of had from day one and at the moment it seems to be very prominent.

“I mean we were in the band a day and had a press conference and they were already asking ‘When is Nadine leaving the band?’. And it’s kind of just one of those things that’s part and parcel with the whole [thing].”

Asked if the reports upset her, Roberts responded: “I think it’s quite deflating for the fans but we tend to not take it on board too much.”

London, (ANI): UK pop group Girls Aloud would not perform together for another two years as Nicola Roberts has announced that she would not return to the band until 2012. Despite rumours that Nadine Coyle would not be rejoining Cheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh and Sarah Harding, Roberts said she would be back.

:o

Looks like more BS to me, Nicola already said they would be getting back together with nadine, and nadine also tweeted to ignore the rumors so it doesnt make any sense, and i'd believe what nicola and nadine said over anything else.
hmm ok that article makes a little more sense than That first blurb that was posted, made it sound like it was nicola who wasnt coming back to the band until 2012 and even though nadine would not be back nicola would. but reading the full thing makes more sense, cheryl is coming out with another album which im sure with all the singles and possible tour will take her well into 2011, and nadine is finally starting to roll with her album which will also take her into 2011, they'll probably take a break then meet up towards the end of 2011 to work on the album for 2012.
i just want to hear new material :snif:
Cheryl Cole is too focused on her solo career to even spend time with her Girls Aloud bandmates, never mind work with them a report today claims.

"Cheryl is tied up with her solo success. She's in no rush to get back with Girls Aloud." a source told Heat magazine.

"She realistically doesn't think they'll get back together for at least another year, and perhaps even longer."

One girl set to take this news particularly badly will be Sarah Harding who is apparently desperate for the band to get back together, starting with a big night out.

"Sarah has realised that the issues within the band can be resolved and she wants the girls to get on like they used to."

"She thinks a night out for the five of them will help them get things back the way they were."

Do you think we will have a new Girls Aloud album by this time next year? Something tells us we might waiting a very long time for this one unfortunately...
