Not mentioned in the Hits Daily Double report, so she's done less than 10k, not that that's surprising.

I LOVE BoA! haha . I Did It For Love is a amazing track.

And Eat You Up ... is just ... wow ! :P

Apparently a radio tour is scheduled for next month. Maybe they'll even send the song to radio as well :|
Would be a start...

BoA - Billboard:

Top Electronic Albums #5 , Top Independent Albums #16 , Top Heatseekers - #3 & Overall #127

I'm pleased, considering it's had no good promotion, no radio play, new artist etc. Besides, the only way is up [now that she's finally finishing off in Japan apparently she's ready to devote all her time to the US.] To put it in perspective also, Utada's English debut started off at #160 iirc.

But Utada's debut sold 55k...

Anyway it'll be very, very hard to pull it back after that debut. Traditionally in the US albums drop off big-style after their debut; she might not be top 200 next week. She should've just delayed the album release if she couldn't find the time to promote.

and in 2003 sales were higher, your point? Besides 55K is its overall sales, not first week. It's taken 4 years to sell that

I think she can. Like I said, promotion has barely even begun yet. Not everyone follows the trend of big first week, drops off the radar after, Lady Gaga took like a year with JD to establish herself. Snow Patrol, James Blunt, I can think of dozens that don't//haven't followed that trend, which is usally done by only established acts.

^ I see your point, and kinda agree with it. she needs a BIG break over there aka peforming on a popular tv show or at least star as a guest. radio support is @ 0 right now :/

all she did was that hollywood walk perfomances or sth :S with kiis fm.

I still have hope for her as the album is AMAZING

any info on how much the album sold to get to #127 ? :(
