May 3, 200916 yr All due respect, Jester, but he was just saying what he thought. Maybe he said it offensively, but what he was saying isn't really offensive. It's his opinion and is entitled to one. I agree with his opinion also.
May 3, 200916 yr Without starting an argument, I do agree with this, although it was a good song, it wasn't fantastic and the X Factor was the only reason it went to #1 Oh dont be so ridiculous. The promise won single of the year at the brits and stayed top 75 for months after the xfactor performance. Some acts perform on the xfactor and dont even get top 20. The promise would have got to number one easily without the xfactor :rolleyes:
May 3, 200916 yr i agree the promise would have been number 1 with or without the x factor,x factor at the most helps a song for one weeks sales,the promise has sold well over 400,000 and has remained in the top 100 for for 30 weeks that shows it had wide appeal
