what shouls shakira release as the 3rd single off of Oral fixation vol.2

"illegal"(featuring Carlos Santana) should be the next single thats a great song an it would probably give her a next top 5 hit too as well an boos the sales of the re-release of oral fixation vol2 album whenever its released in the uk. :)

If not, 'Costume Makes The Clown'.

I would like Costume makes the clown or Animal City or even Timor, i think Illegal would be a bad choice for the uk and i myself have never warmed to it. How do you do is another good single on the album but for obvious reasons not a good song choice for some places. I would like La Parad to be released aswel, it still is possible for some of the spanish songs to become double A songs in the uk isn't it? or has that idea been scrapped?

I think the next single will be "illegal" inernationally

The fourth single of Fijación Oral Vol. 1, Las De La Intuicion, will be released in June 15, 2006.

The remix of Las De La Intuicion (Mixed by Hex Hector) will be released instead of the album version. However, only the beginning and end of the song will be remixed.

Almost simultaneously, Illegal featuring Carlos Santana will be released into the English market three days earlier than Las De La Intuicion.

I suppose it would be possible for the Spanish songs to be a double A side but more likely is that they would just feature as a B Side like "No" did on the "Don't Bother" Europe singles.

 

It would be nice to see them both promoted as a double A Side though, that way you promote 2 albums at once. My ideal choice would be Animal City for OF2 and La Pared from FO1 but I think Matty's idea of a LDLI/Timor double A side would be cool. The two electro songs!

If illegal is released i will not be happy and shall not buy it because it will wreck her uk carrer which she has just put back on track with hips!

Maybe it is her next single but it wouls seem weird if it was , her website did have a poll a few months back asking what should be the 2nd single and i think timor was in the lead followed by animal city and then various other songs and i'm sure illegal didn't get that many votes.

I think illegal is an obvious choice for 3rd single. It's the opposite of hdl, it's easy to listen to, it's got a spontaneous side to it. You can imagine it being played on heart fm and that kind of station, although i doubt any single of hers will be played on radio if hdl isnt -_-

Did you really! what did she say back? She should just release it in the uk, she is powerful enough to do that sort of thing now.

She asked me what song I think she should release. I said 'Timor'. She then said "Another option?" which I guess means she doesn't think too much of my choice! :lol:

Animal City should be released, by releasing it near the end of summer, it could be like the last summer song of the year
