Posted June 17, 200619 yr I watched this last night on TMF, it is a Kerrang! programme that they do every year, this year it was hosted by Stuart Cable (that hairy curly haired ex drummer from stereophonics) and two slaggy looking girls. There were many good songs and good videos including; 'The beautiful People' by Marilyn Manson (billie joe reckoned the song was about him), 'Californication' by stereophonics, 'Pretty fly for a white guy' by The offspring 'Tribute' by Tenaciuos D and 'All the small things' Blink 182. The number two was announced 'One' By Metallica. :winner: And number 1 was 'American Idiot' by the one and only Green Day!! :winner: I also watched on TMF 'The 20 best rock party anthems' as hosted by Matt Willis and 'American Idiot' made it to number one here too beating 'Jump' by Van Halen and other such songs that i cannot remember. :D Edited June 23, 200619 yr by Mrs Armstrong

June 19, 200619 yr Author to be honest although i love Green Day and everything about them even I didn't think it should have won. I agree they deserve it but there were some really good songs in that. Chappy i think it was viewer votes.
June 21, 200619 yr Author Even though i've only i have only heard 'Metallica- One' a few times i think it should have been better than AI. Even 'Enter Sandman' is better than that i think and im not even a metallica fan. :blink:
June 22, 200619 yr I WOULD HAVE PREFERED HOLIDAY TO HAVE BEEN number 1 instead of american idiot,,i like american idiot but i adore holiday and the live version is fantastic on bullet in a bible
