March 9, 200916 yr I'd love to do that, I'm actually interested in becoming a music/film critic after my GCSEs.
March 9, 200916 yr I'd be game as well... What sort of music you focussing on though...? I'd be wanting to write more about Rock/Metal/Alternative or Underground Dance/Techno/Aggrotek/Electronica type stuff...... I get to a fair few gigs living in London, going to the DAF/Client show at the end of the month, seeing Wednesday 13 in April as well.....
March 9, 200916 yr Me too. Need some kind of experience in the media. Ditto. Moving to London soon, want to break into the media or low-end music industry...

March 10, 200916 yr Doing a journalism course and currently looking for an internship in Music PR. Just dont turn into another Max Clifford mate...... Once upon a time, I wanted to be a journalist too, but then I discovered that the media just lies to you and withholds the truth, and paints a totally distorted picture of reality, and that it manufactures consent from the public who are just fed a line of cr@p about soap stars, footie players, wags and "celebs" to keep them docile and happy and distract them from what the real issues are in the world......

Completely agree, as ive grown up and learned more about the Media (been studying it since i was 13/14? am 17 on sunday) ive just completely grew apart for my old love for journalism. I used to want work for a newspaper/music magazine but i no longer have any interest in journalism. I much prefer the music industry and am now looking into the A&R business which is far more interesting (Y) But of course once College has been done and dusted i shall be shopping around Internships and see which part of the media i like the most.. Good luck to the both of ya's (Y) Edited March 10, 200916 yr by Joao.
