June 18, 200619 yr That's really bad. I knew Top 10 was out of the question but I had thought between 12 and 15 was realistic. I guess it did well for a song that got NO airplay or is that just an excuse?
June 18, 200619 yr Author That's really bad. I knew Top 10 was out of the question but I had thought between 12 and 15 was realistic. I guess it did well for a song that got NO airplay or is that just an excuse? I think the world cup influx pushed it down a bit, I bet it would have been top 15 otherwise.
June 18, 200619 yr Damn World Cup. I hate Soccer! Oh well at least it's another Top 20 hit for the Danster and maybe people are waiting to buy the album instead?
June 18, 200619 yr I think it would have been top 15 if it wasn't released this time of year, maybe Dannii wasn't really expecting much either. She didn't seem to have much enthusiasm in much of her performances coming upto release. This song could just be more of catch to get people interest so they buy the album, people will have watched or heard the song just didn't buy it.
June 18, 200619 yr Damn World Cup. I hate Soccer! Oh well at least it's another Top 20 hit for the Danster and maybe people are waiting to buy the album instead? Yeah i think people are waiting for the album and i think it aired on the music channels way before it should have. Are you buying the album over the internet? Has Dannii ever done anything in the usa?
June 18, 200619 yr I've ordered it from HMV. Neon Nights was released here, it failed to chart but sold about 20k which is good for an album on a small label with no promo and no big hits, Ultimate Kylie sold about the same. IBTW made #2 on the Dance Airplay Charts and DWLTF made #8 but that chart is pointless and means nothing.
June 18, 200619 yr Ah right so in the usa does hardly anyone know who either one of them are? Kylie's had some success here, although fleeting. CGYOOMH went Top 10 and Fever got as high as #3 but BL and it's singles all flopped.
June 18, 200619 yr I really like red blooded women and chocolate but nobody else seems to  I remember red blooded women appearing in charmed.
June 18, 200619 yr Author I liked RBW at the time, now it just grates on me and I consider it one of my least favourite Kylie singles. 'Chocolate' I always loved though, my favourite of the 3 BL singles.
June 18, 200619 yr its disappointing position for dannii,,just scrapping the top 20 after been top 15 in midweeks,,,,i dont know but i have the feeling the greatest hits could chart around the same,,,,this single needed to be big as that would have given the album a huge promotion boost,,,,,i would say alot of the sales of so under pressure are fan based and will be lucky to be top 40 next week
June 18, 200619 yr To be honest I didn't even expect it Top 20, so it did well considering all the footie songs in the chart could have been higher.
June 18, 200619 yr Author It doesn't bode well for the album either, she needed a higher position than this really.
June 18, 200619 yr i guess the focus wukk be on the album now as good hopes for the single are over with
June 18, 200619 yr Author To be honest I didn't even expect it Top 20, so it did well considering all the footie songs in the chart could have been higher. It was around what I expected this time last week, but from the midweeks I was hoping for something higher than #20.
June 18, 200619 yr how will the next single do as it will be of an album that will have sold a bit so that could hemper its sales also,,,lets just hope the next single does better than number 20 and certainly not worse
June 18, 200619 yr lets be honest its done terrible. we cant blame the footie songs because 19 other songs did better.
June 18, 200619 yr Author lets be honest its done terrible. we cant blame the footie songs because 19 other songs did better. About 10 of them WERE football songs.
