Has anyone heard James Morrison’s new song “Broken Strings?” He collaborates with Nelly Furtado in this song and I wasn’t sure how the collabo would be since they’re two very different singers but I really really like it. I only assume that because you are from the US and just now hearing it! I hope that's the case, the song is amazing.

This song is doing so well. Its been No 1 in Germany for 5 weeks and James has just announced another 5 shows over there after the success of the one in Frankfurt last month.

 

Would like to know if he's releasing BS in the US.

I think BS would flop BAD in the US. It's not easily categorisable enough.

I don't agree. I think if he actually promoted it with some radio interviews and a couple of performances it would be huge, especially since Nelly Furtado's on it.

I hope they find a way of doing a live performance of this song together. I've no idea about the US market, but Broken Strings is the kind of song that creeps up on people. If they find a way to promote it, I'm sure it could do well. Nelly has appeal across several genres, so I'm sure they could find something somewhere.
