June 25, 200619 yr Awwwwwwwww thank you Sabrina :heart: :heart: How was Venice??? Venice was great :wub: ! But very hot, luckely there was some shade in the narrow streets. Loved the gondola's, but a bit expensive. We slept on a farm in the po-delta region, about an hour from Venice, they had recently renovated appartments and a big pool that we had to ourself most of the time, because the days we decided to stay the other guests (only 2 other couples) went on excursion. We did 3 days Venice, 1 dag Murano and 1 day Padova, the other days relaxed and enjoyd the pool, and nice view.
June 25, 200619 yr Ohhhh :heart: that all sounds soooo nice!!!! I've never been in Venice myself (or in the rest of Italy :rolleyes: ) only seen the airport in Rome wen I was on my way to Egypt but I must say that I didn't like that at all :cry:
June 25, 200619 yr We landed in Treviso, a little airport, nothing nice about it, on the way home they picked out my husband to have a full bagage control :rolleyes: thank god it wasn't my lugage, because all the things we bought were carefully packed in mine. It was the first time we went from charleroi airport normally we always go from zaventem, and we were on the wrong train to charleroi :rolleyes: but still made the flight. Charleroi is kind of a not so nice not so clean airport. Italy is wonderfull, and I like to go back and see another part. Tried my best to speak a little Italien :rolleyes: vorrei uno dolchi (or something like that) = Ik wil een nagerecht :heart: Been thinking of taking an Italien course in september... btw our 'neighbours' on the farm were dutch :D
June 25, 200619 yr I think I would like to go to Italy one day, Toscane seems a very nice place!!! (I have some Italian roots myself ;) ) It's only the airport in Rome that I didn't like...I think there was a very aggressive atmosphere there :unsure: I'm thinking of taking a course myself but I prefer Spanish :P ;)
