Were any of you fans of Britain's first star of the Rock'n'Roll era (before Cliff Richard)?

i quite like his stuff, retro wise, maybe if he was 'of my generation' (or i his) id have been very into his music... good dance!
:D I like Lonnie Donegans music, got his greatest hits. My fave has to be the classic My old mans a dustman ;)
Fondly remember the fact that it was my late grandfather that introduced me to his music - Cumberland Gap is an amazing track for it's time.
I don't mind him, but I wouldn't say I was a fan either.
