May 14, 200916 yr Ive given the album a second chance and its quite good. To me, this is Eminems version of KC's My December. Hmmm think I might leave it for a little while longer then :heehee:
May 14, 200916 yr ^Lol, in the sense that melodically its not brilliant but lyrically its really good.
May 15, 200916 yr I just hope Relapse 2 will be a big improvement on this... I read an interview that the second part of Relapse is better than the first instalment (coming from Eminem himself!)
May 15, 200916 yr Proper good performance and came across sreally well in the interview too! About a million times better than GaGa when she was on there. :heehee: Here is the tracklist for Relapse 2, as confirmed by Interscope: 01. Sobriety Test 02. Above The Influence 03. Vortex 04. Energetic E. 05. All Day Long 06. Revive Live 07. Keys To The City 08. The Clock (Skit) 09. Give Me One Minute 10. Who Fell Off?!? 11. Cyanide 12. Symptoms 13. My Syllielable 14. Paul (Skit) 15. Rakiminism 16. Released 17. War of The Words 18. Steve Berman (Skit) 19. Atoms 20. Relapse Reaction 21. Expect This Forever
May 16, 200916 yr He sounded like a rather nice guy in the interview, but I think the performance wasn't very good at all :( And what with that other rapper from D-12 singing it with him ?
May 16, 200916 yr Beautiful HAS to be a OFFICIAL single. Its amaze and easily one of the best tracks
May 20, 200916 yr As much as i love We Made You, im shocked at how it seems to be only recently that its reaching its peak in the charts... are people really THAT slow?
May 21, 200916 yr Everything he did used to be sharp, funny or downright menacing. Now its just stupid and irrelevant. The new album has a few amusing moments, but nothing to elevate it to the quality of the fairly good Encore, let alone the amazing first three LP's. He just uses the same tired flow for every song, not commanding the mic at all. He went to rehab, and his friend died. I mean, the guy can keep all the private as I'm sure its been a really tough year but surely he shoiuld have some reflecting to do, some purpose to go on, but it isn't there any more. In short, don't buy the album!
May 21, 200916 yr He just uses the same tired flow for every song, not commanding the mic at all. You know, I agree with you, but in some cases it still works for the guy. The lyrics to "Beautiful" are corny as hell, but his delivery and flow make it work. It's easily the best song on the record, and proves he still knows how to deliver a lyric. There is a lot of tripe on the album, though. I can't stand the "Shady" accent he uses on some of the tracks.
May 22, 200916 yr Yes, that is easily the best song. In truth I forget about that because I was so fed up with the rest of the record. The accent is the most annoying thing; it's not even like he used it on the Shady LP. On second listen, his flow does seem to carry it even if the lyrics are mostly crap (except for Beautiful)
May 25, 200916 yr Not sure whether everyone's already onto this http://www.tescodigital.com/Store/Pages/Pr...ct=2%3a29450129 £3.97?!?!?! Edited May 25, 200916 yr by emmaec
May 26, 200916 yr Huge Fan of 3 AM. It seems as if Em might be back to his best. The voice sounds almost old skool that he has put on. I cannot stand the commercial sounding songs. He needs to get back to some underground sounding songs. 3AM is a good start. havent heard anythign else off the new album so will await before properly judging.
May 29, 200916 yr This album proves that Em is pretty much passed it. Just listened to it, and it's worst than the drivel that was Encore. He has nothing interesting to say anymore, it's neither funny nor witty, the sound is nothing but fluffy pop beats. It's like, who cares anymore?
May 29, 200916 yr it's all about 3AM the Travis Barker remix... http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=94822
